What Jordan said about Pip in The Last Dance was 100% true. Jordan advised Pippen not to take the contract, then he did and was salty and selfish about it and put his own interests ahead of the team when it mattered most. That's 100% on Pippen. Jordan was quick to say Pippen was there for all 6 chips and gave him his props in his retirement speech.

Yeah, and don't forget, there was always three more other teammates on the floor with them at all times. When did we start thinking about basketball or any other team sport as an individual competition? It's not boxing, or golf, or tennis, or even gymnastics for that matter where there is included in their events opportunities for individual recognition. It's purely an "American phenomenon." This type of mentality is exactly why we here is America misread Noah Lyles, the track star's comment about what and what does not qualify as a "world championship." An American sense of entitlement. Jordan won MVPs. He won his place as an All Star. All Defensive team awards. The coveted HOF. But he never won a championship, whether in the pros, college, or whatever, by himself. But, you know what, it doesn't matter because he's in good company. No other participant in any of the other team sports, greats, near-greats, not-even-close-to-being-great has ever won a championship by him or herself either. Now speak on that y'all!

It's true. How is it Jordan can put his troubles, his bad years, and faults, on display, to tell the whole truth, but Pippen doesn't want his whole story out there? It seems to me he feels like he's above criticism. Everything that was in that doc., was public knowledge. He signed a bad contract, when he was told not to. How can you be mad later at everyone else, for your choice. It's crazy. Dude is just like a female. He's doing the matrix, with accountability.
