This was taken at a house concert in Morin Heights, Quebec, on July 1, 2024. Both of these are outstanding acoustic blues/roots artists. Michael Jerome Brown, who lives in Montreal, is a three-time Canadian Folk Music award winner, won the Blues with a Feeling Award at the Maple Blues Awards and been nominated for 6 Junos. Mary Flower, based in Portland, Oregon, was a finalist for two National Fingerpicking Guitar championships and is a renowned performer and music educator. I started filming part way through this one.
