Hey guys,
Here's my cover of the one and only King of Pop's seminal hit, 'Smooth Criminal'. This is possibly one of my favourite songs ever written, and sung by my favourite artist of all time, Michael Jackson. I can only hope to have done it some justice, since Michael's genus is untouchable, but I truly hope you enjoy it!

Honestly... How do you not have millions of subscribers just based off of this video?! This is my first time hearing your video, 10 years after upload.. I watched DOZENS of covers on KZread, and none of them even came CLOSE to what you have created here. As if your extraordinary tone, phrasing, and overall ability to capture the essence of MJ's jam wasn't enough, your editing skills and humble demeanor just blew me away. I've got this on repeat now, and can't stop listening. I've been playing guitar on and off for over 15 years and feel like I hit a wall, so I lose motivation to play.. every once in a blue moon I come across a guitar player that lights my fire to play for hours on end.. I can't tell you how happy I am that I found this video 💜 for real, thank you for creating such a masterpiece and being such a humble person as well - truly gives me hope for humanity in this cruel world.

I can't stop listening! Instantly subbed 😂 It is seriously giving me chills every time I listen. You know that feeling you get when you're fully immersed in a jam - eyes closed, picturing your fingers gliding across fretboard, and each note resonates with you? That's this. Every second of this jam is that, and that's SO hard to find. The only time I've take over the past hour or 2 since listening to this for the first time has been to explore more of your videos. Your tributes to B.B. King, John Mayer, and Craig David are each phenomenal in their own ways as well. I loved finding out who influenced your playing style, and where you got your passion from, because it shines through so much in this video. You've got such raw talent! I truly hope you continue making more content, and I genuinely look forward to catching them when you get around to it. This is some sort of pill for the soul. This is 2019 and I hope this cover will live much longer on yt because it brings peace of mind remembering our great MJ and also a great cover man, your dedication and love was the engine of this. I can't ask for anything else when I want something else from this track, just this cover. After all this years I have many days where I come and just listen to this over and over and I hope after many years of guitar playing to do this like you do. Thanks so much! That means a lot! And not particularly, no - I don't think I really used the last two frets much. Just the high note towards the end I guess, but with a stretch, that's manageable on a 22-fret guitar, too, I think! :) I just used it because it's the tone I favour these days, really. And the guitar has been in my hands since 2009, but was built in 2008. It just lay in the shop a while waiting for me to pick it up, I guess haha. Thank you for your support! :)

I am not an expert of music from an artistic point of view, but Michael Jackson is my reference artist ever since I was a toddler, so I know his music inside out. Your cover for Smooth Criminal actually enriches the original song. The melody has already been taken to a superb height by MJ, but your addition of guitar doesn't just render Michael's voice unnecessary, but takes the song to a whole new level. I am astonished, I keep coming back to your rendition and I am blown away every time. You are a great artist, thank you for enriching Michael's music to the world ! Chapeau bas!
