The Jackson family inherited a portion of Michael's estate each Michael made sure that his mother was compensated and that his three children would be compensated once they turned 30 so actually I can see that she's taking their money for her concerns. Katherine is paid in annual salary and the rest of the estate is the property of Michael's three children

The Estate should have taken that decision to sue. If it doesn't and she decided to do it, then it is not the Estate decision and shouldn't have to pay anything.

I thought Michael placed his mother in charge of his estate. So why are strangers overseeing MJ estate selling his Sony catalog when MJ was adamant in not selling it???

Well, from what I am hearing so far, I'm not hearing where Bigi is being unfair. He supports his Grandmother being compensated for her legal fees. I don't get the sense that he's doing this out of malice but is more concerned with the welfare of everyone due to benefit from the estate. He is right about not being a battle she will likely win. So, it doesn't make sense to keep pushing it. It would have been better had Michael set up his estate to push out certain people and instate those who would make better choices with it, but unfortunately, he didn't. So, they have to navigate this mess without him. and that means sometimes going to court. We can talk about her being too old for this and blame Bigi, but Katherine is choosing to take this to court anyway. What Bigi is asking for will shut that down, which would benefit her and her health. It seems he just wants what's best for everyone long-term. I don't like that Sony is getting their hands on Michael's music, but it is the music business and unless the artist does the necessary things before passing to safeguard their catalogue, the industry can do with it what they want. Katherine doesn't have much authority. I hope things are resolved peacefully.

Bigi is right. His father worked hard for his money. He wanted to leave all the money to his children once Katherine passes away. If she keep using the money that Michael let for his children, they will be broke. Katherine is not going to win this fight. Maybe that's the plan, they want her to use the estate money so they can say to his three adult children that there is no more money because your grandmother use most of it all fighting the estate. Katherine is angry and is not thinking about the long run. Bigi is young and he has his head on straight and he is not afraid to speak up. Michael would be proud of him. The Beatles catalogue that the administrators sold for over $700 million, what did they spend all that money on, now they want to sell MJ's Personal Music Catalogue, all because of the commission that they (the Administrators) are going to get out of the deal, and the worst of all is that the kids seem to have agreed to the sale 😢

The kids DIDN'T agree, specifically Bigi, this is why he joined forces w/Grama to fight. They loss twice & now she wants to appeal again & he doesn't see it as a potential for success, so he doesn't want her running thru all of the Estate money to fund this legal merry-go-round, it could incur 100s of millions & he's being FINANCIALLY WISE. Perhaps some people may not like my opinion, but I see in this woman that she was one of the reasons for what Michael Jackson’s life turned into from his childhood until his death, as she never objected to what his father did to him and his brothers, and that is what she said herself, and she said that perhaps if time went back to her, she would have had a deterrent. When what happened to a child like Michael Jackson who worked day and night and did not enjoy his childhood, even if he was as talented as he was, her excuse was that he enjoyed traveling here and there, and that is what she said herself, so she should have intervened as a mother who had benefited from her son’s fame and wealth, alive and dead, and still is. I think at 93, Ms. Katherine has nothing to do with this. It is her money grubbing sons mostly Jermaine as the leader. You see, she is near the end. The boys, who never had careers, and wer NOT left in the will, are thinking money. If she owes 600,000 in legal fees when she passes they may take that Encino house. The only money left goes to the 3 kids. Meaning, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie, etc will be living in Gary, In again. And that is only if Paris lets them. She owns the 2 homes there now.

I don't care what Michael left those kid's, Bigi is fighting against this like he's the one who went through the blood sweat and tears for that money. He needs to learn his place and be grateful that a man as big as Michael adopted him, instead of walking around acting uppity over money he didn't earn, and I agree with others who say that if Michael was alive, Bigi would not be messing with Katherine. It bothers me because those children are only getting attention because there're living off of the Jackson name when they are not really Jacksons, and spending Michael's money, and then don't want the woman who raised them to touch hardly any of it. Bigi has no respect for her, and can't see the good that could come out of her wanting to do this. I hate to say it, but Michael dropped the ball on this one, because in this case, signing your name on a document to adopt children, doesn't always work out. He is not disrespecting her, taking her to court is about him standing up for what he feels is right in a situation where he believes his Grandmother is wrong. He asked for the court to grant that the estate pay her legal fees and he that wants that's what's fair for everyone in this case. Sometimes people have to stand up to their elders. I think he's handling this very well, and he doesn't seem to be coming at her in any bad way.

This is a show business family, and what Katherine is trying to do is about business, not blood. Bigi is a part of that business, so, he has a right to express where he stands and seek legal help to make that stand if he feels it's what's best. Michael his father, and with whatever time he got with him, he was raised to see things a certain way. I'm not seeing based on this description that he is doing it to hurt her, and he did express that the estate should pay her legal fees, it just seems he's trying to put what's best for everyone first. Katherine is not always right, and others are justified to make a stand on things at times.

That is Karma for her. She allowed Joe to abuse her kids and didn’t fight for them, still stayed married to him knowing he cheated on her and not only had a child with her but treated that child better than the nine children he had with Katherine. Didn’t sit down with Joe and read him the Bible when he did something wrong but did it to Michael when he made Thriller and made him feel guilty for no reason other than making music. Used him for money. Took the kids to school after Michael died and he was afraid of his kids getting bullied for years which is why he had them homeschooled for years. But when he died, she sent them to school and Paris got bullied as a result and try to harm herself. I’m glad Bigi is doing this. She doesn’t deserve this money. It is for him, Prince and Paris.
