    1:25 The no look double cymbal hit, and grab, while not missing a beat that follows it immediately is next level. Sugarfoot is an unbelievably talented drummer. The confidence level behind the kit is definitely tough to match.

    Honestly, I feel like everyone can do it. You just have to lose yourself in the flow/groove of the music. Your body will naturally just catch on. If over think and try to memorize the song it wont work. It takes discipline

    As soon as the beat started up you can see his facial expression change to all business. Awesome cymbal grabs. Beat was dead on, not over playing. This is a lesson for all future drummer's. You don't have to fit in a bunch of fills to sound great. Once again great video.

    Michigan Matt well, it depends on the intention. As a drummer, I will play even such an easy thing but if we/I need a more interesting composition, I add stuff as I see drums equal to all instruments. It works in here but tracks like R U Mine? would be nothing without the syncopation courtesy of Matt Helders ;)

    Scott Whittle ye but just because it's pop it doesn't mean you can't have something more. Fills are obvious but I personally would, for example, try to use the whole note triplet divisions to create a back-beat. Check out Clocks, when Chris sings with that kind of beat underneath, it sounds like he's moving further

    Some drummers have great feel/groove (Phil Rudd, Charlie Watts) and some have great technical ability (Neil Peart, John Bonham), but this guy is the perfect mix of both

    I remember seeing michael jackson in concert as a kid.. During the BAD tour. Your skill and stamina on the drums is off the charts. These no music understand people may not recognize what you do. But those of us with some experience in music or band understand. To be able to keep up that tempo with michael's songs through a whole concert with basically no breaks. RESPECT!!

    It takes a lot of discipline for a professional world-class drummer to play like that, he could probably tear it apart on the drums 100%, but that's called discipline, that's called playing what's needed and making sure everything you are playing is perfect. Very well done complete world-class musician right there!
