He stopped eating, and was so thin you could see his heart pulse through his chest. He had the very appearance of an animated cadaver and had by all means died in every other way possible. Yet that spark, that passion drove through him, relentlessly, like a broken robot slowly overheating, it didnt allow him to sleep, he was more soul than man at that point, fueled by this message of hope and his children. Michael couldve done any kind of thing on top of a stage and it wouldve been the most real thing weve ever seen. But sadly yes. Michael wouldve died that year. He had been done with everything for a long time

THe baggy clothes, and layers; to hide how thin he was, and possibly just being cold. Heartbreaking.

I felt he played his last role at this rehearsal. It was so hard for me to listen his song, because his voice was just like the voice of the crying Earth. He contributed so greatly to the Earth to save it and people. We, human being should view this movie again and again to catch and understand his important message.

This is so heartwarming, sad, and scary. Its crazy how THIS song. The Earth Song is the last song he'll ever sing. I can tell by the pain in his voice, he knew "This Is It."

It's devastating knowing how much of effort, tremendous effort it cost him to stand there until almost last minutes of his life.... The man died working , entertaining and making people happy.... Noone would like to be in his shoes. No mother would like something like this for her child. Rest in peace Michael. We will never forget you. We love you, we admire you and we are proud to be your audience.

I remember reading a book, where they were talking about how much he was losing weight and clearly deteriorating, and the person telling the story said hundreds of people witnessed it, but they pushed him to keep rehearsing because they were behind schedule. She said it would have only taken one person to stop him, and made him go home, eat and rest, to care more about his health than the money of concert. Not one person. That's why he was weak, easily taken out by these drugs

Its like he knew the end was coming... his last rehersal was like he wanted to tell:" its the end for me" and "we have to start taking care of earth before its to late". A true legend❤ R.I.P. MJ fly high🕊

I was depressed for months and months and months over his passing.

According to the testimony of his former makeup artist, he had already become so severely addicted to propofol since May 2009 that he had not been able to properly perform rehearsals. Then, just days before his death, he was as energetic as he was when he was young.

The day after this, he died 😢😭😭😢. I’m glad he passed with this as his last performance. The world needs to change! Earth Song is the perfect song to say goodbye to the world!

Man, i cant believe it was his last performance. It was as if it was a message to the world saying 'take care and look after the world and fofill my journey in making the world a better place'. MJ We miss u and will shall continue your mission to make the world a better place.

I've listened to MJ almost all of my nearly 50 years on this earth...not just his music but his public appearances when he had something to say. He was hyped up for his tour...he was also singing things he knew would be a powerful message about our future if we don't stop it. Michael was a force to be reckoned with, so they tried to silence him. They may have taken him from this world physically, but even now his songs from beyond the grave are being heard. He knew what the rich and powerful tyrants of this world were doing, so he was fighting back through his music. The world needs to come together and finish what he started...because evil people won't destroy our world...Good people will be to blame if we do nothing. He knew that. We owe him that.

Legit, I know alotof people who sing on Broadway, and I swear they always got their neck wrapped up and always dressing warm, lol.. my brother in law was married, and his wife was dressed in layers like that. She had a great fashion sensde tho but I never asked but my wife, who is a music teacher explained why the layers. It's to keep them warm while they sweating because the cold air stays blowing in the theaters, and they have to do 3 shows a day.

I am 18 I never knew who Michael was as a kid as I was young in 2009 but bloody hell it's sad to watch this. His dedication to his fans with 50, 50!! Concerts back to back in London is nothing that else can compare. Those concerts would've rocked the world. Forever my favourite singer ever.

I was 9 years old when I heard he passed it had me in tears n this is when I used to watch Michael on mc Chanel if y’all remember that channel it was KZread on tv basically playin all music videos

Today makes 12 year’s of his last rehearsal. Wow right after that he died the next day that’s so sad.

I can listen it all the time. It was amazing man. I still can’t believe that he is not with us😭 LEGEND

This song should be played in every peace march today . It should be 2024 anthem for the grnocide to stop. It goes straight to the heart . I still believe his message can change the world .

4:12 "I cant even breathe" This line of the song hits different in this rehearsal, like, he was so exhaust that you cant understand what he say and 3 hours later he die for respiratory arrest 😢

The audio is taken from the demo. It's not actually MJ singing live. This also happens with other parts of the movie like Billie Jean.

Yo lo que note es como que se salto las partes de la canción en las que en la versión original añadía más garra a su voz,esa especie de grito rockero.....aún así, me quito el sombrero con MJ, era el mejor

Si la perdió, puedes notar un gran cambio en su voz y por supuesto que las partes donde sacaba la potencia no las cantó porque simplemente ya no podía. Y por supuesto que no lo digo de una manera para burlarme de él o algo similar, de artistas él es mi ejemplo a seguir dejando a un lado mi fanatismo por Luis Miguel. Pero sin duda Michael Jackson es el rey del pop y me entristece que no haya podido sacar más canciones, porque aún sin su voz (que es obvio que la perdiera a ésa edad) pudo entregarnos muchísimo más de él. ❤
