OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE AND A FANTISTIC INSTRUMENT!
Brilliantly played, Michael. Thanks for sharing your formidable talents with us. Stay safe.
That Pictures was something fierce! And that percussion! So good.
Beautiful playing - beautiful acoustics
Excellent !
Wow...what amazing virtuosity! Thank you, Michael.
Magnificent performance. Magnificent Organ. Michael is a talented, accomplished Organist. Thanks for posting.
The foot work on the Passion is outstanding
Incredibly talented young man
Bravo 👏
What an organist. That was over the top perfection. Wow.
May not be a baroque instrument, but that was one of the best registered arrangements I've ever heard of Bachs D minor. Not too mention your playing was perfectly suited for the room. The Kilgen sounds even more amazing since the rebuild. Its a beautiful instrument. One of my favorites. Bravo on this fantastic performance...

Well said, Mark.
Your recital was truly magnificent! congratulation on your very hard work!
Fantastic!
Wow....that was on my 80th birthday....what a gift. Thank you!
Il riprodurre una composizione orchestrale richiede di simulare il più possibile l'originale ma al tempo stesso creare una esperienza nuova con lo strumento complesso come è l'organo. Deve essere una seconda opera d'arte. Michel ci è riuscito bene
Really great performance, Michael. Really enjoy hearing the Bach Toccata and Fuge (which is how I found this video) and was then even more pleased with your recording of the whole Pictures at an Exhibition cycle, which was awesome!
Dear Michael: Sorry to have missed you at the church here in Los Angeles/Encino last Monday night! Franck's Choral 3 sounded great on that organ two years ago. We will see you here someday - you are another fantastic organist. The pipe organ isn't going to die. :)
Pictures At An Exhibition was beyond amazing. I loved all the various stops used and tone colors created, especially the Bombard and Contra Bombard in the Pedal!
Bravo!
Brilliant!
Stupendo. Bravo. Grande interprete ed esecutore. Molte grazie Maestro.
Good evening, everyone!
Nice Michael - enjoyed this after a long day in church and at job 2 at NYU. 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Michael for bringing light to my day. Loved the registration
It's good to see and hear that you are doing well through this difficult time.
The Sowerby piece was extraordinary!
Epic..dark..and varied
as a music theroy major at queensbourgh community college i found those pieces hard but fun
Exceptional, as always. But, Whoa, the camera is way too busy--moving. It can be a bit nauseating. Miss hearing you on the Sunday Mass live-streaming on Sundays. Thanks to LAAGO for posting this.

I agree. The camera work is not great. Pity.
Muito bem, organista. Maravilhoso! 👋👋👋👋🙌🙌🙌🙌
It was such a great concert, I enjoyed it very much. I would like to set a timestamp for an impressive processing: At 45:26 Ravel Pavane🎶
Could someone post a track list ? I know they are famous tunes but I'm an ignoramus. Thank you in advance.
In the UK we tend not to know the music of Leo Sowerby. We are missing something!
Really excellent Michael. I haven't heard the St Patrick organ in some time. Boy that 32" bombarde sounds like it's gonna come flying off the walls! :) And I enjoyed your selection of compositions, especially the new ones and the traditional ones, too. Just a comment on two items (nothing to do with your playing which is excellent!): First, the excessive camera movement is rather distracting, and second, perhaps more importantly, the audio quality has problems, particularly with loud passages; even moderately loud passages are distorted. It's not on my end; I use quite expensive audio gear and can tell the really good from the bad and the ugly so to speak (and I also record professionally). I suspect your camera person(s) perhaps used the onboard mic from the camcorder (or the video recording device that was used). I can appreciate the difficulty of setting up good audio with video, especially if time is short and using whatever is available is the only option. However, your playing deserves much much better in the way of audio, so it's something that needs to be addressed going forward. The organ sounds quite good, and I know they've done lots of work on the organ and it can be heard, and your playing brings out some interesting qualities. Aside from my comments on audio/camera movement, I enjoyed your playing immensely and hearing the St Patrick organ again. Looking forward to more. Stay well !

I totally agree with the camera shakes and sound problems ! but sure Michael is a really great musicen ! congratulation for this wonderfull online concert
The playing was truly excellent - very impressive. However, I never thought I'd get seasick at an organ concert! That constantly-moving camera was so, so distracting. It made what should have been a fine production seem amateurish. I look forward to more from you, but please put the camera on a tripod!

Amen to that!
A musically excellent concert but how poorly executed by the production team. At least use a tripod! I'd expect more from LA AGO and St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Completely agree - I expected better. Video is waaay too busy. Audio is nothing to brag about either. Fortunately Mr. Hey's remarkable abilities shine through the mess. Thank you, Michael!

Another vote for better camera work and audio but the artist is amazing and charming and ... fun! Loved the candor of the Sowerby intro.
