Michael Flatley's Feet of Flames: No Surrender Rehearsal

Ойын-сауық

#LordOfTheDance is in its 25th year. In that quarter-century, the show has been through several iterations, constantly providing a mix of fan-favorite staples with new numbers to keep things fresh. One number which has proven enormously popular is No Surrender.
Like Siamsa before it, it's strictly a group number; the Little Spirit Jessica Aquila Judge kicks things off, but then it's a showcase for the dancers themselves, with a huge stage to enjoy and new rhythm patterns to perform. Additionally, it's a rare moment where the violinists actually get to interact with the dancers onstage, making the whole experience a festive party.
Narratively, this number is placed deep in the second act, in stark contrast to all the heaviness of the other numbers around it, as a reminder that there is good in the world. That good is worth celebrating and defending, which the Lord of the Dance is charged with doing in Planet Ireland.
This rehearsal footage was filmed only 36 hours after Team Lord concluded its quarantine in Taiwan. After nine months of inactivity and two weeks of quarantine, the troupe had only three days -- two of which weren't even on the stage set -- to pull the show together, with a 90-strong troupe that was more than fifty-percent new.
Under the guidance of the dance captains, along with stage director James Keegan, the Impossible Tour was achieved. And this is how they did it.

Strange Title Michael. It has bad connotations here in Scotland. You must know that.
