Such an interesting role to take, Fassbender keeps demonstrating amazing range. Each character he takes on is always so different from the last. He is both character actor and leading man in one.

For me, Fassbender is one of the most intelligent, in-depth, actors i've ever seen. Don't get me wrong he's still got more to give, but every time he acts i'm blown away!

Fassbender - future Bond! No contest.

Check out an early Fassbender role - 'Blind Pilots' by The Cooper Temple Clause. A good song and a great music video. Fassbender is a damn fine actor however his 'We are with you, sire! For Sparta, for freedom, to the death!' line is the most cringeworthy moment in modern cinema for me. Its like he's too fine an actor to pull off that level of kinda macho campy ridiculousness that Butler and the rest of the 300 cast did so well. I love 300 and Micheal in pretty much everything else he's been in, but jesus that scene goes right through me, i can barely watch it.

His American accent is so Irish sounding X-D

I know he's Irish, that's my point. He's clearly poor at hiding his Irish accent, despite how talented he clearly is.

I don't think he's trying to hide it at all. Anyone who's irish would know straight away that the accent is Irish. Now, Pierce Brosnan. There's a hidden Irish accent.
