Casablanca, Mildred Pierce, The Adventures of Robin Hood, Captain Blood, The Sea Hawk, The Breaking Point, Yankee Doodle Dandy, Four Daughters, Angels with Dirty Faces, Charge of the Light Brigade. So many great films. Still have Dodge City on hand to see for the first time.

Mr Michael Curtiz was a brilliant Director. I believe he was never fully appreciated until after his death. Unfortunately, Hollywood is a town who appreciates who someone knows more than what they know. He’s perhaps one of the greatest directors of all time. War changes people and can remove feelings of safety, security and hope. Mr Curtiz had suffered greatly. He put all that into his films. I applaud him as a wonderful man with the highest integrity and a director who always reached for and accepted nothing less than the best from himself & others. I hope he’s not forgotten by those who choose to give directing a ‘chance’ when he was the ultimate professional. 🇺🇸

They didn't mention that around 40 horses were killed filming that Charge in Charge of the Light Brigade. And that flood for Noah, many people were injured. Guy was a sociopath, that's probably why he doesn't get the accolades

Wellll, it's just a way the natives give omage to their heritage, I guess "Cannibalism heritage" Righto Frankkk ...gives the place character "I bet it does ...so how are the martinis there?" Excellentttt Frank ...hang on a sec ( bartenderrr? ...how about a couple of new olives 🫒 for my drink?🍸) ...a lot of snakes 🐍 on this island 🏝 Frank "Snakes ahoy Dean" Yahhh ...it all started with a snake 🐍 didn't Frank? "Getting deep on my Deanooo? Your talking about Adam & Eve?" Yahhh...on my fourth martini ...snake deceived Eve Francis "So it did Dean ...it's 2 days from Christmas 🎄 you sure you wanna get into this stuff?" Nooo ...your right ...leave it be ...better subjects ...you got quite the snake 🐍 Frank ...so I've heard "Now Deanooo, that's a Secret Society secret ...not even the Enquier talks about this ...but yes ...I got a big snake 🐍 it's true ...you know who else had a big snakeee?" Who Frank? "John Dillenger ...you know ...the gangster ...they found that out after he died" Reallyyy? I wonder if there's a connection between gangsters, and big snakes? 🐍 Hmmm ...to rob a bank, you gotta have a big snake theory ...right? "Could be Deanooo" Listen Francis ...ahhh ...did Don Rickles ever return that framed picture 🖼 of your underwear at all? You know ...the underwear with the big pouch 👝 tailored especially for you? Just a question about the first day of filming 'Yankee Doodle Dandy:' The narrator said that filming began on December 7, 1941 as the bombs rained down on Pearl Harbor. That was a Sunday. Could that have been true?

My guess is the scenes of the ships were filmed by news and made part of the film so yes, filming did begin on Dec 7, 1941, when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. It was a Sunday morning. Many crewmen were still asleep in their bunks. Then, we Americans took revenge for all those innocent lives. 🇺🇸
