Your take is hilarious. All accounts (and I've watched every major network) of experts is that he came across as a damaged witness. It doesn't matter with this jury, but all it really takes is one. The prosecution should be embarrassed, but I'm guess (like you), Bragg knows no shame.

Well, Trump told 30,573 documented lies during his four years in office. How many of the jurors know that, however, I have no idea. The voir dire process favors jurors who live in caves, and I strongly doubt that the prosecution is allowed to introduce that fact. I think they could if Trump testifies, but otherwise, no.

And according to the court documents, Cohen also remained in touch with Vekselberg and scheduled a meeting with him in March 2017 at Renova headquarters - while Columbus Nova was still paying Cohen. The meeting was of interest to lawmakers because Cohen had met in late January of that year with his longtime acquaintance Felix Sater and the Ukrainian lawmaker Andrei Artemenko to discuss a Russia-Ukraine “peace plan” that would involve lifting sanctions on Russia. The FBI wanted to know whether Vekselberg was paying Cohen to promote the sanctions-lifting plan, which would have benefited the Russian oligarch.

Watch some of other Cohen interviews, he's a "born again" person compared to what he once was. (I personally believe in redemption and a second chance.)
