I had this c.d...it went into all the way of the earth- marking an unmistakable and incomparable time of worshipping ..and on this album- he described in the liner notes, that session..that was being recorded here where it was and how it came about and his interaction with the audience as well it was incredible.. and also was very supportive in featuring Sara Groves and her incredible voice

Grew up with this song

Wow what an Amazing Powerful God who sent His Son Jesus to save all of us.

One of my favorite Christian songs. I remember listening to this with the string quartet in the intro & the interlude on one of the Christian radio stations more than 30 years ago but couldn't find it.

This is awesome !!

This is such a moving worship song; both of God's protecting presence in the Old Testament time, and then "of the frailty of His Son", the God who personally came into our world in an occupied country, as a frail baby, who's life was threatened from the very beginning of his life. The tune is simple yet so powerful that it hold's my attention to the God of Love and Comfort, the Creator God who is ruler of all, yet gave his only Son to save the world.

I LOVE this song! My mom is a big Michael Card fan, so I grew up listening to his music. This song is classic. Not to mention beautiful. And is that Sarah Groves? She has a great voice. I like her voice on his song better than Amy Grant's. Bravo!

Does anyone know the female accompany singer in this song, she also accompanies him in his song Why. Her voice is haunting and set apart and adds a sense of holiness I wonder if she has any recordings if any one knows please share with me. Very powerful beauty that touches a sacred spot in my spirit.
