Michael Burry LOADS UP ON BABA, JD, And BIDU!
Dr. Michael Burry's 13f filing came out for the first quarter of 2024 and he not only held his Alibaba shares, but added to them as well as buying More JD shares. perhaps he is signaling the time to buy Chinese stocks is now as Chinese stocks reach 2009 price levels! Could this be a generational buying opportunity for Chinese Stocks like Alibaba stock? He also added a new Chinese tech stock in Bidu or Baidu! we take a quick peak at the free cash flow yields for all of these Chinese tech companies. So, investing in Baidu is simple maths, this yield is monstrous. I hadn't realise they have so much cash in the balance sheet. They should buyback like crazy. Are they doing it?
It’s important to understand China’s digital Silk Road initiative and associated AI champions (BABA (smart cities), JD (smart supply chain), Baidu (autonomous driving); Tencent (medical imaging), Xiaomi (smart home)… among others. China is setting the technological standards of the 21st century… the only thing slowing it down is semiconductors (for now)…

I think that the USA limiting China access to next gen chips and semi conductors is pushing them to become self reliant . Thats why i think SMIC is going to be the next big thing

@@LDP.. it’s possible… China is trying to become self reliant, and has spent tons of money to develop their own chips, but it has been largely unsuccessful to date.

A little too good I would say. Slowed down the past couple of weeks but for months their advertisements were bloody everywhere. Giving discounts to get people signed up. I don't trust that they could be profitable during that period.
Baba is a pump and dump
