For all the Otis Redding lovers , please dont make such a fuss on this cover of Michael Buble that by the way he is bringing a masterpiece of 60's to be known by the younger generations. Michael have hes own way of performing like so many other performers that made good covers. To Mr Robert Curtis im not going to say what i thinking of your Sinatra covers that you have on your channel becaus i have to much respect for Mr Blue Eyes. Much respect for you all.

It's always wonderful when a popular singer reaches back and pulls forward a popular song and does something different with it. It's his interpretation of this song. It IS Beautiful and full of "Tenderness" and yes, Soul! Otis Redding did it his way and Michael Buble his way! Thanks Mucho to both singers for sharing this song with us all. If it's not your thing OK. You can still appreciate the effort, work and the artistry.

She may be weary Women do get weary Wearing that same shabby dress And when she's weary Try a little tenderness Ooh, she may be waiting Just anticipating Things she may never possess And while she's without them Try a little tenderness It's not just sentimental She has her grief and her care But a word, so soft and gentle Makes it easier to bear You won't regret it Women don't forget it Love is their whole happiness And it's all so easy Try a little tenderness But a word, soft and gentle Makes it easier to bear You won't regret it 'Cause women don't forget it Love is their whole happiness And it's all so easy Just try a little tenderness You've gotta try You've gotta hold her You've got to squeeze her You have to try You've got to try And always please her You won't regret it You won't regret it Oh, try a little tenderness

He mis-spoke. The song was written in 1932 by Campbell, Connelly and Woods. The brilliance of Otis was in making a soul classic out of a shmaltzy 1930's love ballad. Kind of like what James Brown did with Prisoner of Love. Michael does a nice job here.

Newsflash to Buble and others: Otis did not write this song and he was by far from the first to record it. Song was penned in 1932 by three guys I never heard of. Bing Crosby was the second person to record it a year later. But I’d say it took Otis to make it memorable.

To Kyle Hayman. This is what you call singing! You don't have to put in a lot screech or twiddle to perform a song. It is harder to just sing the straight melody and Michael does it to perfection! Why would you even want to deviate from this beautiful melody? Michael FEELS the song! I don't know what you call the original song - it certainly wasn't the Otis Redding version...This is "a song written by Jimmy Campbell, Reg Connelly and Harry M. Woods, and recorded initially on December 8, 1932 by the Ray Noble Orchestra (with vocals by Val Rosing) followed by both Ruth Etting and Bing Crosby in 1933." Go to WIKI and research the song as I did! " " is directly borrowed from WIKI.
