Raquel Cadena , thank you for the translation. I knew I was agreeing with the right person! My mother learned Spanish decades ago......so she could be a Sunday School teacher for Spanish children in New Jersey. Then she married my Canadian father, became a Canadian, & she & dad raised myself & my three older siblings here in Canada. 😁 👍🏻 🇨🇦

Raquel Cadena , I think Burnaby is in the western part of Canada, near Vancouver. That’s a few days from us. We’re in Ontario. As a matter of fact the small city we’re in is walking distance from the States (Michigan). My husband & I have been through various states many times. But we can no longer cross the border. Health insurance in the States for a Canadian is more expensive than we can afford on our combined monthly government incomes. Many Canadians shop regularly in the States because everything is cheaper there.

At about the 2:38 mark Michael can be heard speaking Spanish to this woman, and saying “she’s from Argentina”. So, the woman heard at 2:57 saying “no, she’s French Canadian is incorrect”.
