Love the look on Bay's face when he's introduced as a former advertising guy.

That was great. But I was literally thinking about the Aaron Burr milk commercial last night. So he was one hell of an advertiser.

@@yesnickcarter Thats crazy. I watched Armageddon for the first time a few nights ago and couldnt put my finger on what the cinematography reminded me of. I could only describe it as an obnoxious Kaminski. Then I saw this chain and immediately realized that it reminded of the lighting and camerawork from mid to late 90s commercials. Made my year already
Those two are legends...made my childhood awesome
Missin' the days of ol' Bruck and Bay. Brothers 4 lyfe.

Sadly true, it was all downhill from here. Armageddon still ok up until the last 20 min. Pear Harbour, disasters first hour. The Island, bad script and acting, Bad Boys 2, a joke, the Transformers I'm not even gonna mention.

This film and Bad Boys are Bay’s best films. It’s also great that it features Connery, Cage and Harris. It’s also has a chase through San Francisco with a Hummer versus Ferrari 355.

The Rock is a great Film and great Cast.
They made a James Bond film without getting sued
“Who couldn’t make this movie!” I swear Charlie Rose was trying to piss Michael Bay off 🤣🤷🏼♂️

Throughout the interview, Bruckheimer and Rose are acting like Bay is a zoo animal lol. They talk about him as though he isn’t in the room.
What a great interview. I hope they do more interviews I can get into, but jerry needs to loosen up. He's so stiff. I love Michael Bay's answer how he became a director. So awesome!!

One of my favorite movies.

When asked, Michael Bay was clearly unable to summarise the story of a movie HE directed and deferred to Bruckheimer... Kind of says it all

I wonder if it was that or if he's just a very nervous guy, and is afraid of screwing up. He was in a samsung tv talk and walked off stage after the teleprompter stopped. Probably though that he just cares more about the action sequences and doesn't pay attention to all of the story, yet he films so many sequences of government officials talking about stuff I'm inclined to think he has to pay attention to at least some of the plot.

Bay is clearly all id with how he directs, which is why his movies tend to be quite exhilarating yet incoherent.

@@nox5870 You can't be serious about Transformers, I walked out of that movie feeling insulted intellectually. Then I read years later there is a sequel and they gave that movie a score and a review I exactly would give the first movie word by word. Then I felt some remedy even tho it wasn't for the same movie.
Michael has not aged at all. I mean look at him, seems like he's always manages to look the same.
