I wanted to ask, why do germans don't celebrate him? For example: They prefer to celebrate players like Ozil who is of course a classy player. But what Michael achieved with this Germany team.. He truly was a Dark Knight.

@@muktherock Many Germn an fans are ungreatful and turn on their players. Same is happening with Müller and Neuer right now. Both were injured before the World Cup and Müller had to play as striker even though he isnt a striker; so both of them didnt have a great performance. What do the German fans do? They turn on them, talk bad about them and forget everything theyve done for German football. First they did it with Ballack, then with Löw and now with Müller and Neuer. Never ending story. For the past years Ive been deeply ashamed by my fellow German fans.

I started watching football because of Ballack❤

I started to watch football cos of him, very unfortunate that he didn't win trophies.... But Michael ballack was one of the greatest assets for germany.

Ballack was very good in mainly 3 things: - hard shots from distance - long passes - headers

Also good at Defensive roles as well as perfect Attacking. One of the Best Playmakers of all Time. Natural Number 6, 8 & 10 with perfection.....

​@@kudziekay13he could play at any midfield role. But what's important is his leadership and giving young players like schwiensteiger and podolski a some experience and they benefited from him. So he is Germany's main man. Also don't forget him and Kahn and klose led Germany to the world cup final in Japan and Korea. He is also my favorite player❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

he was like a more physical and less technical version of zidane. the guy dominated the midfield box to box. the video shows mostly the offensive side of ballack but he was a menace defensively. when he was in chelsea, I can fairly say they had the most physically dominating midfield on the planet. ballack, essien and lampard.

You can't say he is bad technically, he isn't superior technically like zidane, but his technical and physical side are very high. They way he plays in this world cup contrary to that of 2002 is different although he is excellent defensively and technically

Mmm, he's the kind of player I've always thought that Federico Valverde should aspire to be. A midfield engine with enough passing ability to run the show from the middle as a combative yet playmaking CM. Because of the context, including having to play in a team where the starters are Casemiro/Modric/Kroos and having to compensate for deficiencies in Madrid's right back and right winger areas, Valverde has had to play as a right midfielder sort of role, having to be a workhorse more than anything else. Thing is that Valverde is a bit stiff in tight spaces and when under pressure, kinda like Ballack. As can be seen in this video, Ballack played mostly from the left center midfielder sort of spot, Ballack wasn't really a in between the lines kind of player, clearly from the video he played "behind the ball" near the defensive midfielder zone, it was easier to maneuver his heavy and kinda lanky body. Long story short, physically and technically he reminds me a bit of Federico Valverde, Ballack is the type of midfield warrior Valverde should aspire to be.
