Edifier 1700BT will give you better quality and well Bluetooth .. these Micca's are ... budget friendly or lets say if you want to use them for surround speakers

Is that enough amp to push these? Im looking on their website. It says 75w. Im assuming thats peak not rms. I ask because I look at their pb42x. It has an internal 15wx2 amp. Which seems a bit low for the speakers.

75w peak, not rms, if I had the miccas hooked up to my Denon avr then I could make these speakers work along side my home theater for a larger room. Lepai amp may seem small, but pushing 15w per channel was very adequate. Even at 15w will fill up a room of 10x10 easily. Also, I default to lepai amp since that's what I have for the time being 😁

Good question, I should do a video about it... MB42x is pretty cool, just on specs the Miccas stand out compared to Edifier 1280t, BUT speakers can only deliver as good as your Amp, if you have decent amp that can utilize the miccas well, than ya it should work fine for you... I like the Edifiers 1280t only because they are powered speakers, simple setup, and I dont have to worry about external amp.. plus having front ported speakers makes a difference for my listening experience (i like em better)

@@sazzad_hossain.s can you make a video regarding that? I'm still struggling if I should get a passive bookshelf (Micca MB42 / Polk T15) for my desktop or just get the edifier 1280DB and get it over with. THANKS!

@@jeremyalon7833 I actually ordered Polk T15s yesterday, I'll do a comparison when I get em... Just dropping my 2cents, you can go with passive speakers and hook em up to a mini amp of your choice (Lepai, Fosi), which could be better than the 1280DBs.. BUT, for an all-in-one setup, 1280DB would be very cool as close range monitors (plus bamboo walnut finish)

  • @sazzad_hossain.s

Not by itself, FiiO k5 supports powered speakers, but the micca mb42 are non-powered. If I want to use something like FiiO K5, then I have to connect that to my Lepai amp which is powering the miccas
