Why do you think the great Coach Tom Landry did not want the title of Americas Team put on the Cowboys? Because it put his team in a very bright light. And any ONE mistake that is made, everyone will see and voice their disgust of what they saw, more so than average. Every since Jones and Johnson came to town, they have drawn as much attention as they could to the Cowboys. Obviously Johnson had the knowledge to use that to help him win. No one else, including Jones, has been able to repeat it. So if Parsons can’t swallow that and process that, he may not achieve or succeed in the way he has planned to.

Micah didn't say he doesn't want criticism he said he wants the same energy for other teams and y'all just proved it. Key and others still downplay the patriots after the cowboys beat gave then the worst loss in 20 years. The eagles struggled against their defense only pulling away late. The jets were called a nothing win after the cowboys dominated then and now that the eagles lost to them without two of their best defensive players key conveniently leaves that win out for the cowboys. Dak has had 2 bad INTs this season, hurts has literally thrown in to the DB on almost every INT and is leading the league in them. Had dak had hurts stats this season media would be calling for Cooper Rush or trey lance . Playing MVP level one season doesn't give you the benefit of the doubt the following, just look at Carson Wentz.

Dallas is their money team. Refs had to bail them out Monday Night in the 4th quarter with BS flags on 3rd and 19 when the Chargers were playing a loose prevent. Notice that they didn't show the "illegal contact" that got Dallas an automatic 1st down. The NFL tells these clowns which team to push!

It's a lot of the fans as well, because a lot of them buy into what's being said, there are some who realize what the cowboys are. I've loved in Austin/Dallas for almost 2 decades now. There are a lot of annoying fans who say, "this is our year this year! Wooooo!" Every year. Which is why you get people who clown on them at any negative they do.

Teams don’t play starters in the preseason anymore so when players play in week one they’re rusty. While the Eagles loss to the jets was bad, the Cowboys lost to the Cardinals and got blown out by the 49ers. Don’t throw stones when you live in a glass house.

He didn't say he has a problem about the harsh takes on the Cowboys, he said the media should have the same energy when the eagles lose as well. It's all hyperbole and Skip contributes to it as well, don't get me wrong, but they coddled Jalen and the eagles after the Jets loss. Nobody was expecting them to be undefeated but they should have won the game against the "garbage" qb with a weak o line. They have the dolphins next week, they'll probably lose and the media will still talk highly of them.

When the Cowboys lose to a bad team they were exposed but when another team loses to a bad team they had a bad game and made mistakes 😂. The lions are doing well and everyone is slobbin on their knobs on TV and not implying the “oh they haven’t made it to the superbowl in some odd years they need to prove themselves first” WHAT 😂

I mean it is crazy how magnified the cowboys are as a brand. Like even though im not a fan of the niners i noticed i have this inner desire for them to be good. Same for a few teams. Like it feels right when these teams are the teams to watch, and i think a ton of people feel that way about dallas even if they arent fans.

Example: Hurts throws 3 interceptions and loses to a team the Cowboys dominated ...no one says a thing about that.

They might watch the game. But that doesn't help them because they don't know anything about football, and so they don't know what it is they are actually looking at.

Sherman’s face at the top of the segment says it all. Yes the cowboys are the biggest franchise, but they’re not bigger than every other fan base combined, including other sports. Skip is in danger of tanking his own show by making it a cowboy fan channel.

Exactly.. there is about 10 franchises that our worldwide. Cowboys definitely have a huge following but so do the Browns or 49ers. It's the media that keeps on talking about the Cowboys more so than any other team. America doesn't want to hear about Cowboys all the time. Only in Texas but the rest of the country doesn't care about them.

I think Key hit the nail right on the head! The difference between good teams and great teams; good players and GREAT players, is that the great teams/players don't allow what the media is saying about them to effect their focus! If Micah was half as worried about winning football games as he is about what people are saying about him in the media, he might be the Front-runner for DPOY right now, the Cowboys might not have gotten blown out 42-10. And this doesn't just go for Micah Parsons, it goes for that entire Dallas Cowboys roster. Stop worrying about what the media is saying!!!! Or don't!

Unwatchable, everyone knows they will bash anything cowboy. And skip will defend anything cowboy. No matter the reasoning. It’s clear that they are harder against the cowboys players when they don’t win. And hurts can have 7 ints , and no one is talking about it

The steelers have 3 playoff wins in the past 10 years. Tomlin is 8 and 9 in the post season. The steelers have not been playing "winning" football the past 10 years

I agree with Key and Richard but I also have to agree with Skip unfortunately. He has a point on the history and lore and all that about Dallas, but he does tend to hold on to that dearly instead of the last 28 years.

Like I feel Parsons. You can just tell Key and Richard are haters. ALL he talks about is what the Cowboys don't do. I just miss when analysts were on TV just seeing the game for what it is... Not all these former players with bias. Everytime the Cowboys beat people key and Richard are acting like the teams are terrible. All Parsons is saying is the Eagles lost to 3 db's missing from the Jets defense. Keyshawn and Richard didn't have much to say. Just be fair. Skip does go overboard and need to talk about other topics other than Cowboys tho
