Hi LM! winny here. I'm revisisting older vids by u today. I'm so thankful for all this creative work you've put in for us all. U Kno, I came off opiates 15+ mo ago & u were a lifesaver to me!! U started me on this beautiful art journey! All that anguish from stopping drugs had went into art. I'm so thankful for u. Just wanted to leave some more love for u here 😘 ur awesome!!
Ok I know I’m watching older videos but Girl you are so smart this paper bag idea is fabulous thank you so much I know I keep repeating the same things but THANKS
Gorgeous..always amazed at how much love and tender care you spend glueing and fixing your books.. the gentle strokes of mod podge caressing the paper again and again... just a pleasure to watch... thank you 🙏 and the end result is WAW🎉👍🏻
Great window project! Love the wonky rivets, and the flower behind the birds head!wish I could keep up..
So fun to run across your channel! I am also a Vallejo, California artist! Very nice to run across another member of our little artist community on KZread also! Very much enjoying your videos. :-)
Dear LorriMarie, usually I don't write public comments, but I really want to tell you how much I enjoy see you working. You are so inspiring and generous, thank you and please go ahead! A warm hug from North Germany, Ricarda
Man.... it’s just can’t get any better!!! 4 pages💜💜💜Just love it!!!!
Can't wait to try this window on a sub-strait. Thanks Sister for sharing your ideas.ox
It's funny that you should mention 'International Don't Get Dressed Day' because I celebrate it too!! In fact, I was planning on celebrating it today. Great minds think alike, my friend.
I must've typed a comment but it went into the ether! I think I said something like I love it that you give these old books a 2nd life and this is 'Absolutely Fabulous'...yum! Checked out the mica sheet and cheapest was on eBay - they're either tiny for repairs, or in packs, so a bit pricey. However, I did some research...mica is a poor heat conductor and it's used where a barrier is needed, so that wiring etc. doesn't get too hot and start a fire. e.g. electronic equipment. Again, Tfs your wonderful talent and ideas. I always feel so fulfilled after indulging in watching, what is for me, one of life's joys.
Nothing better than waking up at 5am UK (dark o'clock)time to see a prompt from you tube and there she is our lovely leader of the village with yet another amazing tutorial.
Today I want to let you know that I watch you so much but usually am doing other things in my studio so do not take the time to comment. Usually because I push my computer out of the way so I have more room at my work table. Cant reach the keyboard.. But I do want you to know that you have inspired me on my mixed media journey. Mixed media is my therapy. Also I love your voice. you are so calming. You always think positive which is so upbeat. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us. Good luck on your patereon group. I wish I could join but for now it is not in the cards.. Hugs and blessings to you dear LorriMarie
So good you're on recovery... Now I've got -a nasty cold - no sore throught - yet... I'm just happy it is this week and not next week, because I start a new job on october 1. Would hate to start a new place having a cold.
...this fragile book can be happy that it has landed in your space !!!
I love the add on with BPB. I’m using that ingenious idea! Thanks LorriMarie
Totally love this ! Last time I used some plastic food containers in place of mica. Glad you are feeling better LM. Condolences to H H on the loss of his mum. Very sad.
Hi LorriMarie, this has been one of the best 45 minutes of my life just watching you do your thing and it is calming, relaxing, exciting, and wonderful, and I just wish that I could have been your sister, you are better than any celebrity, royalty, etc. To me you are so brilliant I think that you are far more creative than most so called Artists, love what you have done to repair this lovely old book 📖 I am your number 1 fan💕
Ha ha! I was looking at the "altered boxes" I've been making and I do my own little window trick on them.....although not NEARLY as impressive as a mica window! Love these special effects and multi-page book projects.
I am going to have to take an adventure and work with Mica tiles. I really like the looks of that peekaboo window and some of your other mica projects. It is so good to hear that you are returning to normal. You were a trooper! -Marsha from Texas
Waftering: when you can find your focal points because they've "wafted" away from where you just had them 2 seconds ago! On
