hey there carmen...it does work with the acrylic paints....it rubs off easily so....breathe....then wipe it off with a paper towel...have fun with this technique! see you on the table....

Not really I am in the middle of expositions and finishing paintings. Only few things here and there like using underpants on my journals. That is the reason that tried to go to San Pancho, maybe next time. Hugs.

Very cool page. Love the microscope slides just showing bits of the girl. Isn’t that silver tape awesome. I use it in a lot of my projects and can’t get enough of it. Especially good for masculine style makes. I usually sand the black gesso off or put guilding wax over the top. Really brings that texture out. ❤️

My favourite guilding wax is by Pebeo. Such freakin’ awesome stuff. Don’t know if you can find it over there but worth every penny

Very cool. Microscope slides are fragile and not tempered so be careful and protect your eyes. If you clean the edges with alcohol and don't touch the copper foil will stick better. More awesome ideas please. Goodies are headed your way 🤘

i need to raid the hubba bubba's gaget box and see if he has any little gears to glue under the duct tape. That would make some great texture, too. oh, does the copper come in wider strips like the duct tape? I would love a Blade Runner type Bradbury Building look....if you remember that first Blade Runner with Harrison Yummy Ford? I love that copper and steel look. See, your inspiration is going nuts in this girls' head.....can't say enough about the ideas you give me. keep it up girl.

hello my sweet friend...the copper tape does come wider....it is a bit pricey... amzn.to/2NcZWeh but this is 2" wide so it should go a bit further...check it out darling...and thank goodness for hubba bubba's gadget stash! i bet there are some yummy goodies in there! could you see how much he would charge for a laptop cover?? leather...handsewn around the edges...simple...thank you my friend....see you on the table...

I use a lot of copper tape, which definitely does have stick issues. I’ve tried many glues and have found that very small dots of hot glue work quite nicely.

Oh and I can’t find your links on KZread, where do they show up?

For the page with the microscope slides, I thought you would just glue the image down, put the taped slides down on top of the image, and then the metal duct tape around it. Was the page with the slots in it that was glued on top of the image necessary since it was all covered with metal tape? Maybe I missed its purpose.

Hi, great vid as usual!! Love this process! Random question: I know you use a Laser Printer. Does alcohol ink act as a solvent for this type of ink? Could you maybe drop some alcohol or alcohol ink on a random laser printed piece, see if it bleeds or if you can rub it and move the ink? It would help me a lot! Is Mod Podge archival quality?? If not do you worry your books won't stand the test of time? OR Is there something you finish the book with that is archival *safe? Thank-you for sharing I do learn everyday. Have a good day!!

what great questions blr...nope....modpodge is not archival...and i am okay with that....if these books last as long as i do? then i am okay with that too.....i do not create them as museum quality....and the mixed media that i created many years ago? yep....still around...i am so glad you are learning from the channel....i am constantly the student as well! see you on the table....

I love the way you glue pages together to make them " strong and healthy" and sturdy, but when I do that, the pages wrinkle. How do you prevent that from happening? I feel like I am applying as much modpodge or glue as you are. HELP!
