Ali, some pretty good coxing. It is nice to see an American cox who has an element of the British coxing style. Good changes of intensity, Just a note. The lack of stability coming forwards isa product of pausing at the catch. I know you can't change that because that is coaching decision, BUT there is something you can do to fix the balance forwards. Crews who do this tend to get the hands away as the body rocks (or worse lunge for a bit of extra length at the front end). From the cox's seat watch for any blade that seems fractionally faster (has more angular velocity) into the last bit of the catch than the others, as this is where your instability is indicated, although it is the product of something done at the beginning of the recovery. There are a couple of people in your boat who could get the hands away fractionally faster before initiating the slide. Good luck!

"Hips off at the catch" is a really smart call.
