I'm so fascinated with the history of Miami Beach. I can only imagine what it looked like before development.

My Mom had a cousin who used to do waitressing and hostess jobs in restaurants and hotels in 50s&60s. In the summer, she'd work in NYC. In the winter, she'd work in Miami.

And I bet that buildings started sinking before they were finished because it was all built on a sand bar just like the city of Miami.

lol Miami is on a big limestone rock. Hence why we have so many quarries.
My birth place it’s changed so much but I still love it.
There is a book about Miami Beach called " The Billion Dollar Sandbar"!
