Having such a horrible and long-lasting pain end all of the sudden must have been overwhelming. I remember something similar happening to me once my medication kicked in after 6 weeks and I felt relief from my anxiety disorder. @@WobbaFett9001 I have a younger brother that has been suffering from a mental health issue since he was in middle school (in his mid 30s now). We've been able to mitigate it and make it somewhat better, but he is still suffering, and a physical feeling of overwhelming anxiety is what triggers horrible depressive episodes that can last days; often resulting in intrusive thoughts and thoughts of suicide. He often complains that he's tired of the pain because it's been going on for so long. I read your comment and couldn't help but to hope you may have a new avenue for my brother to explore. Does any of this sound familiar? What medication worked for you? We've tried a couple but they didn't work.

@@GnarlyFeats Hi there, I'm very sorry to hear that about your brother. I was in a somewhat similar situation before my treatment started. What worked for me was Lexapro, but I know everyone is different so that may not work for your brother. I would try different ones until one works. I know that's very annoying but sometimes it's the only thing you can do. Also, I would advise your brother not to drink. A couple drinks is alright but drinking too often will make his anxiety wayyyyyyyy worse

That is not a catcher that's a first baseman. They have no mask and he was dashing to first base because the ball got hit and that's what you're supposed to do in baseball

I love how the crowd always cheers as the player is carted off. Like putting a guy, who took a meteor to the head, on a cart is going to fix anything

My favorite is how we humans try to walk/run out of intense pain- its like, "nope, i gotta get out of this- im out"....where the fuck we going?
That was a serious hit. Threw his equilibrium off for sure. Glad he got up though.
Thank goodness he's ok, my pops lost an eye in high-school with that same hit. Super scary!
Seeing his teammates run to him makes me miss mine.
I was there. Scary to see that happen.
A lot of class from everyone. Hopefully a speedy recovery.
I was actually in the stadium when that happened, I was younger and wasn’t paying attention and thought it was just a pop fly wondering what happened. Crazy to see it now all these years later
When I watched him get hit I legit got a headache as soon as he got hit
Trainer: how many fingers am i holding Up? Jennings: yes
His eyes were so spooky the lights were on but nobody was home
I think someone else said it best when calling that a picture-perfect example of "the lights are on but no one's home."
- "How many fingers am I holding up?" - "There are four lights!"

Damn spoon heads.
If you’ve ever been hit by a baseball at that speed, you know how he feels. Your mind goes blank, and for a second or two you seem to go unconscious. It’s absolutely terrifying.
Brutal .... amazing he stayed conscious.
my head hurts just watching this. i cant even imagine-
When I saw his expression I was afraid he didn't know who he was.
Just take the man to the hospital immediately... Stop standing around him looking at him

Paramedics only move people when they are stable... if they arent they are not gonna risk moving a person as it might create more damage to that person..
Wow, much respect to Jennings. Glad he's ok.
He's lucky to be alive. Thanks youtube for the yearly recommendation of this video
Is it just me or does the angle from behind him, with a slow down, @1:30 ish...make it seem like it hit his glove and not his head?

Lilith.N.Morning you can’t be serious. Does a glove hit equate to the ball going 90 degrees AND to the SS?
Are we just gonna ignore the fact that the shortstop caught that ball off his head for the out? Glad he is alright, but what a crazy play.

That hit literally took my breath away.
I am crying! I hope he will be ok

This was unfortunate. Mercer felt bad.
Bless his heart!
Oh damn! Hope he’s ok the problem with these types of head injuries they don’t show up till years later but in a nasty form... 🙏🙏
