The mi 10 Pro holds its own, although the exposure needs sorting, With the ultra it was more detailed in some instances (Also update coming to rectify some issues with the ultra). This said again we need to question is the ultra worth £600 more? The Answer is a resounding NO 👌

Good comparison bro! Exposure in night time shots looks good on Ultra and some finer details in daytime shots, otherwise I'd pick the basic Mi 10 out of the three. Overall a solid contraption and even the cheapest of the bunch.

Thank you for doing the camera tests. But there is a few things you have to consider for the next videos: -The sharpness area in the shots is different from model to model way too often (example: 3:17, the mi 10 pro has the focus on the very close plant, the mi 10 has it a bit further, the s20 ultra focussed on the building. Now comparing the building for all 3 when only one has focussed on the building is not a good idea. Make sure all 3 have the focus on the building next time) -Movement in some of the pictures while others have no movement in it -nighttime shots where cars lighten up certain areas of the picture (at 2:20, a car headlight is helping the s20 ultra so much, we dont even know how it would look without the headlight) Keep it up :)

absolutely not worth it as Mi 10 pro is double the cost of Mi Note 10, the difference in main camera is negligible, and nullified when using GCam, also Mi note 10 doesn't suffer from oversaturated videos and will drop more in price

Mi 10 Pro toke some blurry pics in this comparison, compared to others I've seen.. Are you sure the camera glass was all clean? Btw great comparison as always! ;)

Amazing comparison! I can see the S20 Ultra getting much closer to the iPhone camera with trouble at night. Mi 10/Pro's overexposure sure is a problem. Hope they solve it.

Is the zoom comparison coming in another video? Could the 100x space zoom be replicated by cropping into a 108mp photo from xiaomi?

Mi 10 Pro wins clearly here (except for a few shots). And that for (almost) half the price. Sorry, the S20 Ultra doesn't deserve the "Ultra" suffix, when it comes to the camera. This is just a big phone with a good camera, but nothing more. Although I'm not interested in Huawei as a brand anymore, I'd still like to see, what the P40 series can offer camerawise. I mean, Huawei is the reason, why other brands evolved their cameras so fast. Rumors say, that Huawei will take the next step forward with the camera (e.g. 10x optical zoom). But the zooming range on the Mi 10 Pro will do it anyway for me.

So, here's what i think of the Mi 10 series, The pro version seriously suffer from software optimisation. Specially the focus isn't great.. and thus the sharpness is missing from many photos.. and the saturation if reds are really higher than the mi10 maybe due to difference in firmware version difference. I do prefer Mi series from Samsung.. but i hope they work on their software and make the beast a king

Mi 10 pro is winner. Better in dynamic range, colors are natural, good in portrait but when zooming is..ultra is sharper. Hows the battery in Mi?

Surprised how well the mi series are comparatively keeping up and even beating the s20 in some shots. It feels like looking at the footage and shots that the mi10 is being artificially nerfed compared to the 10 pro, as they use the same sensors for main cam, but the colour science in exposure is way different, favouring the mi 10, not sure if thats just lag lead software differences and will come to parity eventually or artificially nerfing the 10 to justify the 10 pro. What do you think since you have both phones in hand. Great comparison as always

All I will say is this - OnePlus are in real trouble. No way will they be able to come close to the image quality on the Mi 10 Pro or S20 Ultra. The OnePlus 8 is doomed.

Good work Xiaomi, the Mi 10 Pro is excellent. The cameras are at a very high level, the competition will have to work to connect. I also liked the images of the SG S20 Ultra, very sharp, Top. The videos are very good, the final sound is getting better and the establishment, ohh man, is Top too. Worth the price difference? I don't think so, but I emphasize the sharpness of the SG S20 Ultra's images. Frankie, OPPO and REALME will soon launch their new products, and other brands have followed their course, such as OnePlus (I hope the cameras are Top) ... The mi note 10 is a midrange phone and mi 10 is flagship.. main difference is the processor..

I want to ask you that, is there any major difference in display of either of these phones? Because s20ultra has better screen resolution as well as it has more pixel density, on the other hand mi10 series have only 386ppi pixel density.

Please make a (camera, sound display) comparison b/w mi 10 pro with oneplus 7pro or 7Tpro. Pls...pls...pls..

I can say that cameras are no longer an issue from these phones. It all boils down to one's loyalty to a brand or if they are budget concious. No matter what, they are all amazing phones for sure.

Yeah pretty impressive results!

The S20 Ultra does have an advantage when it comes to night time shots. But overall the Photos n videos produced by the MI 10 pro are really good. And unless you are comparing pictures next to each other, you probably couldn't tell the difference. Xiaomi mi 10 pro seems like the reasonable choice for the price. Great comparison Frankie 🙂👏

The photos from s20 ultra is noisier than mi 10/10 pro even though it has better lighting expose, but this just software. I hope all of 3 devices could improve their algorithm camera throuh future update

Hello Frankie... hows the curved screen holding up in the Mi's? That's a deal breaker for me to get this phone...Very nice camera comparison. Not surprised to see that Samsung is suffering from focus issues here and there. Could wait for another two weeks to fix the damn thing and then release it for public. Why a customer will pay 1400$ and wait for updates to fix issues?

S20 ultra tends to under expose the pictures.. while the mi 10 pro bump up the shadows to get brighter picture.. The s20 ultra with the under expose picture looks better on lowlight because it consistently can handle dark areas and lights to have proper exposed image (sometimes).. All of them did a great job, with natural colours on the s20 ultra and punchy colours on the mi 10 series..

Not seeing any YTBers doing s20 comparison vs OnePlus. Are we able to see it?

Hope Xiaomi add EIS for selfie cam video and 8k video. If that happens it'd be a firm victory for mi 10 pro

Kevin Paundra sometimes it is clearer and this is up to the software update from two companies.. xiaomi has launched the world first 108 megapixels camera in the Mi note 10 pro, so they already make some progress in utilizing that huge camera sensor...fair enough.. Also, wanna say this every time I watch a apple Huawei Samsung night shots compare video, Samsung really need to improve their night shots, it is the worst of the 3 flagships... it only takes Apple one generation of iPhone to get from nowhere to a master of night shots... Huawei,, well they basically open this battlefield and the zoom after the launching of p30 pro. Samsung needs to catch up..u can’t just rock with the best hardware right now...

I really can't decide between the s20 ultra and the mi 10 pro can't wait for the battery drain and charge test between these two that will help me decide

Let me say this.. with different captures so different in sharpness, I'd attribute it more to camera shake than anything else. S20 being in the middle had lowest chance of movement...

Mi 10 pictures is yellow-tinted, software fixing needed?

Unbelievable.. can't believe how a such a high end phone looks average in comparison to the mi 10 pro. Still blurring issues on the S20 which I'm sure will get sorted on the update but overall the mi 10 s blew Samsung away. Slight over exposure as you say with the mi's but overall there's only one winner and it isn't the Samsung. Great video as always Frankie 🥰 . In reality you could buy 2 mi pros for the over priced Samsung. The only thing I do like is the flatter screen.
