Bushido style is literally the best style if you can time your dodges. It's just guild style with 1 less hunter art, and added perfect dodges/blocks (thus making Bushido Charge Blade the ultimate as it gets both)

+Triixster no actually there are moveset changes too! but not as drastic as the others i think

Busido Bow has the current record for the demo last time I checked which was: 2m53s Bushido lookin' really strong.

+Crafty Librarian I wouldn't really take times with no armour skills, forced cats and items allowed too seriously. But yeah, it's looking that way.

+Emarrel Obviously, but it's still worth mentioning. You're still hunting a Narga in some way, right? I mean, times aside, a mechanic that innately gives you an evade of this calibur it going to help your uptime with a lot of weapons far more than I can feasibly imagine some of the other styles will. Plus, you still get the one super skill which you could then just make another damage buff considering all your (general) defensive needs will be taken care of by the style itself. I realize the blademaster weapons lose some moves, but I myself primarily play HBG, so it's pretty much a win-win for me. Always Guild style to fall back on if Bushido is too game breaking too.

How hard are bushido timings to nail? I've seen other youtubers go flawlessly, but I've also seen some only get the bushido evades 25-40% of the time. Are you and others just really good? or are the ones who can't really bad?

I am assuming probably like dark souls evades, or similar to evade+1 with extended s on successful dodges.

+locustofchiron It's really easy. I can never roll through monster roars properly in Monster Hunter, but I was very easily able to nail the Bushido evade.

+Wespa64 no difference, standard evasion i frame, but to trigger the counterattack, you need to do a perfect dodge, ie dodge just before the attack hits you. So getting eva+ skills will not help if you cant time your dodge.
