Use farcaster. To restock if max potion empty. And. The quest leader. Use ghillie mantle. And heavy artillery skill on your armor not mantle.. use palico to help load cannon. Positionn the cannon 2x. And then. Fire. This only takes 2 to 3 minutes. But you will damage fatalis for 4000 damage.[ This damage many % if solo ]With heavy artillery. And then farcaster to change armor. And. Slinger shot Dragon pod droopped with claw attack. Will flinch fatalis

Question, I'm nost sure if I remember correctly but, didn't the ace commander save *you the hunter* from an attack? If so, the ace cadet did the exact same thing which is a cool reference to the scene in mh4, its also good character development.

I like how they recall the first time you play Monster Hunter World. A-Lister was the first person who talked to you. That was a nice little touch on before the final battle.

Fatalis is not the dragon you wanna have "fun" with. He wants you to take him seriously and it shows..

Have you seen it's pin attack? it litteraly melt unlucky hunter on himself until they die (in legend fatalis hardens its scale by *melting hunters on himself)*

shadowx I mean it is sort of a mockery of us. We did the same thing to it’s family (well Scharde did).

About when the handler helping the guild soldiers wearing the clutch claw and slinger. Its because clutch claw and slinger are new world equipment developed by the research commision so the old world people don't really know about it. Just tryin to fix some missunderstanding.

I know this is possible. I’ve toppled alatreon in 12 minutes, so I KNOW this is possible, but my god he hurts. I love it. They made fatalis, well.. fatalis

Speedrunner: Fool, I've already defeated Alatreon a hundred times, how can you be any different. Fatalis: Insubordinate hunter, you underestimate my power, now suffer for all the monsters you've killed. *Proceeds to melt hunter onto his skin*

The scene where the handler is teaching the Guild Hunters how to put on and use The Slinger Gauntlet and Clutch Claw are there because that's new to them. They never had that kind of tech in the Old World (Old Games) which makes it more than just a gameplay material rather a story of innovation within Hunter's Guild's branches.

Never thought I would die fighting side by side with the A lister

this is a fight u take seriously, he has 3 phases to the fight, and has a one shot mechanic similar to safi's. if u mess up even for a second, ur dead. use the dragon pods when u can, if u fire 2 at him it will stun him. just remember he has 66k health when u fight him solo, and 171k health when u fight him with 4 people.

I’ve actually survived his hellflame so it isn’t an instant kill like safis unless you’re talking about an attack I haven’t seen yet. I survived the hellflame attack twice with like 15-20% hp remaining. At a certain point of the attack it throws you on the ground and all you have to do is abuse the invincibility you get from being knocked down to survive it. Super man diving also helped me

Your scythe is fricken bad ass and fits so well in an ironic way due to it being a symbol of death going up against fatal3the symbol of death, fear and nightmares for all monster hunter players and the world of the game Also now feel the suffering and pain all players pre new world had to go through against this demon

This is interesting to see what it’s like to face Fatalis for the first time. My first attempts looked pretty similar, I was just getting completely whooped. It reminds you of how far you’ve come after learning all of his mechanics. He’s very difficult especially at first when you don’t know any of his moves

I think having you fight along with the hunter is REALLY cool. Wish they’d do it more.

I have soloed him twice so far in like 30 attempts, I got all the armor and the longsword though, thanks to palico plundering me mats.

The key to fighting fatalis for 1st time LISTEN to what the Handler, Commander, etc They telling you what to use , how to weaken it, how to kill it. They even showed where the weapons are. 70% of MH community will be at this for awhile. Lol

Not exactly, rathalos charges at you 1 frame perfect, and tail sweep sometimes. Black fatalis used to be more like, Im gonna belly flop, and then crunch, crunch, crunch And it would hit you even if your body was touching the tail, yes Even during the crunch animation lmao

@@princekanbatsu2301 dont forget the armor mode. I agree with you that fatalis have different moveset. But because it have same theme song like rathalos (with choir) and the armor design exactly look like black rathalos makes it doesn't feel like legendary beast... but it still hard af LMAO

HELPFUL TIPS! When he does the cone breath attack you can punish his head but dodge right when he gets up to avoid the sludge exploding. (U can also avoid it by hiding behind the rocks) He also only does the cone attack when he is up on his hind legs. And with the lines of fire always dodge forward. You want to position where his head would be if it were down (helps avoid unnecessary cartz). Your palico would be more useful using the sheildspire so you can have time to heal. Breaking his head should be top priority as it lessens the effect of his breath attacks later in the hunt. Each stage is a damage threshold he novas after a certain amount of damage is dealt to him. Tbh more forgiving than alatreon on that regard... he just has a metric ton of health to get through. Thats rlly the only issue once u know his patterns.

Gotta break the head so that most of his attacks at the final phase doesn't one shot

I recently just got over Alatreon's terror then Fatalis returns... here we go again, making me just stare blankly at the Quest Failed screen lmao

You know Fatalis is a beast when CantaPerMe got fucking annihilated so many times and only barely managed to beat it.

The General legit looks more like DG than his character does👀

Me and My friends beat him last night and the thing that I love about him is that he rewards aggression. Most of his move-set it safer if you are under him. He has some punishes to take care of that spot but on most of his attacks you want to be on his back legs. Second is that pure damage isn't really the way to win this fight. It wants you to use the siege weapons as they knock him down and give you openings. Plus the fight actively punishes you if you cannot break his head meaning you need to use tenderizing and wall bangs well. Alongside using his chest trip as a way to lower his head for damage and a wall bang. Its a hard fight we needed almost all of the 7 potential carts we had but we had a blast. Hopefully you can get it down and beat him.

Man I just want an Open World MH game hwere I can explore the entirety of that castle

Finally soloed it. It's hard, very hard but that armor set is juicy. New meta, will need to farm for it.

This may not be right but from what i can gather is that you should wall bang him only when hes on all fours, that way you can deal the most damage to his head. Don't waste the wallbang if hes standing up otherwise you'll do far less damage to his head

If you're able to get enough materials fighting him you can make his legs and gloves then you can stack satiated to 3 with gobbler and not worry about healing

I think there is one bullshit move where he slightly nicked me with like 1 mm worth of his tail and it 1 shot me full 200 health 40-50 dragon fire red and 950-1000 defense

You’ll need 1000-1100/1200 defense. Anything below 1000 is a no-go Also, gunners take more damage than melee, so if you’re using a ranged weapon you’ll die a lot more easily

Fatalis felt your presence that is why he showed up. Just like Alatreon when Safi Jiva showed up.

When I say the beginning I thought his character was Diavolo before his reveal.

I failed all my runs with 4 men team but manage to defeat it solo. It was clutchy because the time was nearly out, like 30 seconds left or so.

Attacking his head gives a huge attack bonus and attacking his mid lowers his head bro

As an LBG main, I struggled with the cone move at 33:48 because of how far I tend to stay from him...he gives all weapon types an equally shitty time lmao

@Raffaele Tammaro The one shots are real for gunners. Almost 8 out of 10 times is a one shot. It almost doesnt matter if i have how much defense. Then i saw mutiple melee hunters having a hard time to hit him and get smacked around so yeah....the struggle is real haha. The best so far is that i ve broken his wings. Then he enters 3rd phase...

frankie cutlass Was it the huge sea of flames? Because you should be able to visibly see the fire parting from the Column. The regular 180 fire breath probably isn’t stopped by the block

It's "Onsluaght", "On Slaughter" isn't a thing.

Mr whiskers just fainted 5 times from that one fire breath alone. And palicos are actually very strong. It's just that fatalis did his fire breath for so long mr whiskers didn't have time to heal.

Every time I go against fatalis I get the shakes from focusing and hoping I dont die from countless one shots, its very mentally draining to me 😔 it's a doable fight tho but you really have to do it flawless

I actually managed to get close with randoms. But they just don't go for the head unless he's down.
