@@roguethemachine3928 boy you said it, it feels terrible on the Switch even with a Pro controller. The fucking SAED never ever goes where I point the left joystick. It's infuriating because I was really really good with CB in Iceborne and World but I'm whiffing so much in Sunbreak. I gave up on CB in base Rise because of it, giving it a go now because I have so much muscle memory ingrained in me but it's frustrating. To me, it's easily the coolest weapon of any game I've played.

the lag cant stop the DAMAG from elemental cb

Elemental cb has been such a good thing ever since World honestly, the sheer huge numbers and visuals of the SAED is great. Aka's positioning top notch as always

It was also still mostly shit in base World because the elemental cap hampered it. In Iceborne once they raised the cap it became a lot more viable.

I've been struggling with Steve's double talon swipe attack. Looking at your slick counter, wirebug dash into SAED. (Like @ 30 secs) any tips on the input for that to aim the wirebug out then aim at Steve accurately? Also do you just spam attack/ heavy charge slash to wrack up firing pins?

How do you feel about Steve in Sunbreak Aki? I personally found it weird they removed his big sweeping slashes as well as his sideways double kick. Maybe one of those could've let us SAED out of a guard point.

Incredible fight, Seregios gave me a lot of trouble with CB. I wanted to ask a couple of questions if you don't mind. Does Attack Boost increase the damage of the elemental phials too or is that only determined by the amount of element the weapon has? Also, do phial explosions proc Chain Crit?

Attack boost doesn't increase it, however Elemental boost does. Technically, phials would make Chain Crit activate, however, phials don't deal crit damage, so the number will always be the damage of the element plus attack/elemental boost multipliers

atack boost does not increase elemental phial damage also the artillery skill also doesn't increase elemental phial elemental(fire,thunder,dragon,ice,water) atack, teostra blessing (fire only), kushala blessing (water and ice only), storm soul(thunder and dragon only), chain crit is different from older games now grant +5 atack and +5 element probably works on phials, coalescence, dereliction and elemental crit (not tested but by the description should increase phial atack now) elemental phials deals a multiple of your base elemental damage and cannot crit so u can read the in game skill description if it says it gives elemental + x damage it should work though there is a limit to elemental damage bonuses if im not mistaken elemental phial damage can be calculated by doing element x phial multiplier x hitzone multiplier

Actually, since Sunbreak, Attack boost does increase SAED Elemental Phial damage slightly, since they now have a fixed damage portion that is 8% of your attack.

Yeah all his attacks with openings send him behind you so you can't really guard point into SAED much. I came here to see if Aki knew any attacks you could do it on but it seems like there aren't any. At least now I know to use morphing advance though.

@@Rathadude If you're confident, you can also guard point the dives and use axe hopper to reverse your direction to hit with SAED.

Element itself is pretty buffed in sunbreak as it should be.

Is there a reason you didn’t use switch skill swap at all? Wouldn’t axe hopper saeds do more dps? :o

With the skills Dereliction, swapping scrolls uses up your Qurios, healing you in the process, but it also reverts your attack buffs you get from them.

you can also get it with the mod reframework, on camera settings. 90-100 FOV and adjusting the vanilla camera distance is the best config for me

if i had a dollar for every time someone mentions world for a weapon i’d be rich, tell me world was your first MH nd you can’t let it go with out telling me. dope vid tho just had hate when people go off saying “Oh fuck world is the reason why that guy beating the shit out of the monster” 🤣🤣🤣
