😄Luckily CB is one of the weapons that looks a bit complicated to pick up, but is actually pretty quick to learn once you've played around with the basic movest a bit. The switch skills are super intuitive & fluid wich helps alot when getting into it.

100% Understandable!👍🏽 Health Drain can be distracting and sort of scary in a way. If you include skills & items to deal with it, you have nothing to worry about at though :) For example: Kushala Blessing Lv 3 + Recovery Up 2. Then use an Imunizer in the Hunt. You wont even notice the Health Drain anymore. (You can eat a Goutmet Fish or eat the Super Recovery Lv 4 Dango ontop of that aswell, if you wann go completely overboard with Health-regeneration 😄 )

Nice video, I like the comfy elemental build, do you plan to have also the TU6 buids for CB as well?

I'm asuming you mean the charged Sword hit ? It's kind of a hidden move that you can do by imideatly pressing the Light Attack Button after a successful Counter Peak. Super usefull if the opening isnt large enough to get off an SAED 👌🏽

speed runners make it seem like element is the only way but I have had many hunts using impact phial that went extremely well especially due to the stun you get from using it. impact is still very awesome. people just look at wow 2000 phial hits but forget all the wiffs 😅

@@juggerdarknaut013 If you usually dont use Dereliction that makes this very simple. In that case the strongest option for impact phial damage would be using Double Edge Build, but replacing the Helmet with the Risen Kushala one. For the Weapon, go with the Cera Cediment (Diablos CB). For the Weapon Augments, Slot upgrade and the rest Attack Augments. (Slot upgrade is so you can use the "Defense Master" Rampage Deco. It restores sharpness when Guarding). The Expert Deco can be replaced with slugger or anything else you like 👍 - For the Augments go for 3 Levels of Mail of Hellfire if you can. A Dereliction Build for Impact Phials will likely be coming to the channel in Video form when TU6 is out👍

Yup! 😂That's why i mostly use the Dragonheart Build against Risen Elders or non-afflicted targets. As soon as you get Blood Blight the health regen will make it damn near impossible to stay below 70/80% Health😂 For afflicted ones i just run the other Build with a Drgaon CB.

Its so satifying when you hit an Elemtal Discharge and dont whif a single phial.

Sadly the Velkhana CB isnt that great when compared to others. The resaon for that is that it's a Elemental Phial Type, but has "low" Element..So it ends up loosing to other Elemental Phial Types with higher Element value by default. The Auroracanth CB outperforms it by a veeery large amount. The best option is to just use other CBs with the Velkhana CB Layered design ontop ^_^

Hey 🖐Thanks for the feedback, i appreciate it. Dragon Conversion is only avilable on Talismans from the Vigor Melding, wich is RNG. But luckily the drop rate for it isnt bad. You should get one failry quickly if you're farming Talismans.

@@omeku That will realy depend on wich of the higher Tier Monsters you can farm in a comfertable & consistantl quick way. The best Targets for that so far are Risen Teo & Chemeleos. Their material Drops are high value and the can be beaten fairly quickly. Seething Bazel, Cahotic Gore, Furious Rajang and ofc some of the other Tier 7+ Monsters are good targets aswell. (Risen Valstrax & Shagaru are great but can be somewhat difficult to beat fast consistantly)

What layered armor are you wearing when fighting diablos? Great video btw

Is the Abyssal Splitter a good option for impact hybrid? That is, a good mix of both saed spam and CSS? Is the double edge build armor set the best for this?

The Abyssal Splitter is still a good CB. But for a Hybrid Build (SAED + CSS) it now falls behind the Gold Rathian CB quite a bit due to multiple reasons, specially because Sharpness has no effect on Phial DMG. So the only advantage the Abyssal Splitter had over Gold Rathian CB with it's huge purple sharpness looses alot of value. Overall interms of DPS the Abyssal Splitter wont be able to beat Gold Rathian CB anymore. But if you still want to use it anyway use the Double Edge Build & change the Chest to the Risen Teo one. You will need max Crit Eye to make up for the bad Affinity of the Splitter.

For the double edge luna build, did you find poison attack or level 3 haze and foray not contribute enough to DPS, compared to attack and crit eye?

Precisely 👍🏽Back in TU3/4 that would have been the way to go. But now the mathematically highest DPS potential is going straight for ATK & Affinity on a Hybrid Build. If you have room to fit in Chamblessing Lv 3 via extra slotage after augmenting aswell, that would be ideal. (Extra Poisin Attack is basically worthless to most Builds atm. Always go for Cham.Blessing Lv 3 over that if you can.)

i have a question, on dragon conversion. my ice element on stats shows the 0 font in red, and all other elements shows 0 in green colored fonts. does that mean my ice element is not being converted?

Sorry for the late reply, seems the comment was hidden somehow. No worries, All of your element resistances are being converted 👍🏽 The color of the font just changes based on how much initial resiatnce you had sometimes. But it has no effect on how much element you get.

Yeah, the Weapon Augments make a huge difference! But even without them you should be hitting a bit harder than that. Here are a few questions: - Are you missing any Skills ? - Wich Rampage Deco are you using ? - Are you aiming for the Elemental Weakspots on the Monster ?

All the builds are amazing But i have a question about the Furious on Element phial build If i play all element resistance jewel, should i also play full furious ? Stack ? Great video as always 💯

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! If you can get Furious via Augments, definitely go for Furious over E-Resistance Decos! Since they will use up tons of Slots on your armor, and Furious is pretty cheap in comparrison. If augmenting seems too difficult, or you just dont have enough materials right now, then using all E-Resistance Decos is okay. Stacking both is not realy necesarry, since you also get +15 to all E-Resistances from Dragon Conversion. If you have both Dragon Conversion & Furious, then only add E-Resistance if you have Slots left after maxing out Burst & Element Exploit.

No problem ^_^ Untill you have access to the Amatsu Legs you can use the Ingot Legs or the Flaming Espinas ones. Both have good value for the Build. You'll have to adjust the Decorations slightly though so you dont over shoot the max for ATK Boost.

Happy hopper is just the sunbreak version of the chammy / s. Nerscylla set from 4u

Pretty much Allthough i rarely ever used the Chammy set, cause i personally didnt like it's look lol. Always paired the Nerscylla CB with relic armor (untill i got a good sleep CB relic. Then Nerscylla got replacesd aswell :D )

How does Raw shape up to Elemental in terms of DPS? I know Elemental can't be touched, but is the first 2 builds capable of doing 220-300 Anomaly within 7-8 mins?

You'll have to be quite offensive, but yeah it's possible to do anomaly Investigations in under 8min with them. There might be a Raw/Impact Phial Build for the Bonus Update coming aswell. If so, it will be a pure Phial damage Build that should land somewhere around 330-350 per Phial if used correctly.

It realy comes down to personal preference for elemental CB. The 2 Switch Skills I recommend having would be: - Counter Peak Performance - Phial Folluw-up: Firing Pin These will ensure you get easy SAED's & more elemental Damage from the extra Phial Explosions that come with Firing Pin.

All you need to include is the "Axe Hopper" Switch Skill. Everything else is up to your personal preference. But i recommend also using the regular "Phial Follow up" insted of the new "Firing Pin" Switch Skill, for this particular Build.

They are different depending on the Build though. - Counter Morph Slash (optional) - Condensed Element Slash - Phial Follow-up / or Firing Pin - Counter Peak Performance - Morphing Advance The Hybrid Build has Condensed Spinning Slash on one Scroll. And the Happy Hopper Build has Axe Hopper on one Scroll

Full Guard on a talisman?? I haven't seen that since Iceborne. Time to grind Qurious materials again 🥲

It's different for all weapon types and also depends on if your weapon has an Element or is Raw/Status.

Hey Nox, I recently just finished making the elemental sets for CB on the PS5 and I came across a strange side effect or maybe glitch that I don't really understand. When my health is around 70 to 100 percent health, my elemental phials are able to do damage, however, after a certain amount of health has decreased, the phials dont discharge. The obvious fix is to use heals and the phials will begin to discharge but is that normal? It's either a skill that you mentioned that I didn't understand or maybe its a weird side effect that I have to deal with.

@@scarletflare5694 Hey! No worries we'll find the issue & fix it! 👍🏽 - The 1st question i'd have to ask is, wich Build exactly is causing you this issue ? Because from the sound of it you might be using the "Dragonheart" Skill with incompatible Elements here. Dragonheart only works with Dragon Element. Dragonheart inflicts you with Dragonblight once your Health drops to a certain Point, wich will literally deactivate all Elements aside from Dragon. That's why only the Dragon Build in this Video is using that particular Skill. - The 2nd question i would ask is, if perhaps one of the Armor Pieces is a normal Valstrax Piece, insted of Risen Valstrax Piece ? (Normal Valstrax Armor = Dragonheart Risen Valstrax Armor = Dragon Conversion)

@@YokaiNox now that i think about it.. I do have a dragonheart augmentation with the risen valstrax chest which at the time i believed would benefit my dragon CB set. I honestly didn't think that the skill would end up messing up the other sets by that amount so that might be why. Might have to change the augmentation... To the second question, I am using the Risen valstrax armor so I know it couldn't be because of that. But oki, I think that might solve the problem then. Thank you so much

@@christianrodriguez4831 In general it takes about 2x SAEDs & a few extra hits to prock it. You'll hear a sound effect go off & a multi-colored Shield Symbol appears above your Healthbar. That's your signal to switch back to red. Depending on wich Platform you're playing on you might wanna check your settings. Some platforms have a default limit of how many icons are shown above your Healthbar at a time. If it's set to a certain Limit, make sure to change the setting to "show all".

Augmenting doesnt make much of a difference at all for that Build (except for Weapon augments ofc). There's definitely something essential missing or going wrong if your damage is significantly lower. What are your Skills looking like?

I have - max ice attack - max fire res - max dragon res - max rapid morph - max furious - max elm exploit - max dragon conversion - max load shells - lvl 2 kushala blessing - lvl 2 burst + some skills that don't affect damage. I'm at 141 ice attack on flicker blizzard wail but can't get more than around 655 phile damage on diablos.

@@nootnoot4770 Okay Skill wise there's definitely no issue here. But going off the Element being 141 for you it's definitely a case of weapon augmenting that's causing your damage to be lower. You'll have around 25% more when you're weapon is at the current max Augment Lv. Btw were you using the Elembane Rampage Deco?

Nox, I’m trying to get dragon conversion on the arms but every time I get it, it takes away one lv of Dereliction. What should I do ?

@@YokaiNoxthanks for the response, and it’s for the dragon build. I already have dragon conversion on the Chest already. I had to lose, one level of attack boost for one level of dragon conversion.

@@Eli-iw4kb No problem, any time 👍🏽 Nice. ATK Boost is pretty much irrelevant on Elemental CB Builds, so loosing that Lv of ATK Boost is completely fine. For the Arms you can use the Skills+ Augementing Method & sacrifice the Lv of Resentment for an easier chance at getting Dragon Conversion. Sadly there's nothing else we can do to make it easier aside from that.

@@YokaiNox I just got it, it sacrificed 1 lv resentment for +1 lv dragon conversion and +1 lv furious. I wish it was strife tho instead because now, it’s almost impossible to get, cause narwa parts sucks when it comes to qurio arguments. Most I got is just slots for the armor pieces. But anyways thank you so much again, your the best Nox fr

Well the first question will be wich plattform you're playing on 😄Since you need to have acess to TU4 to make this. But there is also a Happy Hopper Build i made for base Rise in this Video here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/a4t7tcp7ntS1ZM4.html (It does not come with sleep though, since base Rise doesnt have any decent sleep cb options. I recommend giving your Palico/Palamute sleep weapons insted. Gathering Palicos are best for this).

Nah, sadly Frostcraft is not good for Chargeblade at all 😖.

frostcraft can be great for charge blade if you don't mind sheathing for a bit. some people using it have done 3k+ phial explosions with saed. it's totally useless for chainsaw mode though.

also that's if you happen to get lucky enough to get frostcraft as a deco and can still have dragon conversion and furious in your set, very hard to do unless you get super lucky or just cheat with mods

In that case a few things will change and your setup should look like this: - R.Teo Helmet - R.Teo Chest - F.Espinas Arms - Bazel Waist / (Scorned Magna is good aswell) - V.Mizu Legs [Talisman: Anything with ATK/Guard Lv 2+ and some Lv 2 Slots if possible] [Augment 1x Lv of Bloodlust into the Build if you can.]

You have to use Vigor Melding to get DC on Talismans. it's RNG, but luckily the drop rates for it arent that bad ^_^

For some reason I can't make comfy elemental cb build work :/ I do everything I'm supposed to do (I think) and I can only get 400 phial damage max. I swap to blue scroll, hit the monster till I get the elemental res. buff, swap to red scroll and then release my phials but no... The most I've seen was 400 :'(

O.o There's definitely something wrong then. No worries, we'll figure out what the problem is and fix it 👍🏽2 Questions i have right away are: - Is your weapon fully augmented & using the correct Augments? - What are your Elemental Skills in the Build looking like exactly ? (including the exactl Levels etc)

My weapons are not yet fully augmented yet, I'm using 4 element augments on all of them for now until I unlock more slots (still grinding anomaly investigations 😑). As for my skills everything is the same except element exploit, its at 2. I also don't have intrepid and my guard is also at 2 due to lack of slots but I doubt those skills would affect my dmg output.

@@minyjr.2628 No problem at all! ^_^ Okay that already explains some of it. Increasing the Augment Slots on elmental Charge Blades has a big impact on the final Damage output. Since it gives the Weapons additional Elment ATK for free by default. + ofc any additional Element Augments that can be addet via the Slots. - Are you using the Elembane Rampage Decoration & aiming for high elemental Hitzones on the Monsters ? (They need to be 25 or higher to trigger the Elembane Deco, wich increases elemental DMG by 10% ontop of everything else). - Dragon Conversion & Furious are both at Lv 3 aswell right ? And yup, the Skills you mention have no effect on the DMG output, so no worries there👍🏽Except for Element Exploit ofc. But missing 1 Lv is only 2.5% less Element DMG, so not realy note worthy.

@@YokaiNox Yes, both furious and dragon conversion at lvl 3 but I'm not using elembane rampage deco because I thought filling the augment slots with element dmg would be better than just upgrading rampage slot for some reason 🤦 Also just yesterday I realised how dumb I was because I wasn't using guard points to release my saed 😅 If I remember correctly that also had an impact to the dmg. Today, after upgrading my rampage deco slot on my weapons and adjusting some other minor things, I was able to hit 800-900 to weak spots per phile consistently. Thank you so much for the help! @@minyjr.2628 Awesome, great to hear it was such an easy fix in the end! 👍🏽 Guard Points actually have no effect on the DMG output. The only case for Guard Points increasing DMG, is for Raw DMG Charge Blades only when using the "Offensive Guard Skill" That has no effect on Element at all though. So no need to worry about Guard Points too much when using Element CB. Thanks minyjr ! I appreciate the Support & Feedback !

i'm master rank 71, i must be higher to get those armor.. i still dont get why the ice/water/fire weapon cant get argument, maybe im too low to get that and i can't find dragon conversion as bonus to craft for talisman and other bonus for decorations, i cant find them lol

To unlock alot of these things you have to increase your Anomaly Research Level. That unlocks alot of new Decorations & Augmenting options. Dragon Conversion Talismans cant be crafted, they only drop with rng from the Vigor Melding. But luckily the drop rate for it isnt so bad.

​@@YokaiNoxI'm sorry if I bother you again.. i dont really understand about this augments, i saw from video that you upgraded weapons with 6x Elemental boost and 1x Rampage slot upgrade that's right? and why in stats attacks and sharpness are increased ? also which augments should we use in every armor? sorry if i missed anything.

​@@underground500 No worries man, all questions are welcome here 👍🏽 Correct. If the weapon doesnt have a Lv 3 Rampage Slot yet, then first upgrade that. After that just put in as many Element Augments as you can. The Sharpness and Attack of the Weapons is automatically increased when you unlock more Augment Slots on the Weapon. For wich Augments to put on your Armor you can check the "Augment Recommendations" after each Build.

You are saying you dont have the Talisman for "this" Build. Wich one ?? There are 6 Builds lmao. You can get similar Talismans to most of the ones i'm using in the Video, very easily now! You can get almost all of them with the Cyclus melding, like i show at the start of the video.
