I mean, about a 30% of the video was an ad. I'm fine with sponsers, but the Content:Ad ratio should be a bit better than that.

If you don't want to deal with the constant health ticks of dereliction, you can opt for a mix of narwa and ibushi armour instead. You lose chain crit, blood rite and dereliction, but notably gain slugger 3, partbreaker 3, guard 5, guard up 3 in addition to offensive guard and artillery, and this is before charms or slots. It's absolutely stacked.

artillery doesn't effect elemental phials and elemental phials can't stun

You can actually still received crit chain 3 if you switch the waist piece with the end game boss’ waist piece. Narwa/and blue simp at 4p will give every skill on the set 1 extra boost. Honestly prefer it for dragon and thunder as the damage from this template isn’t as different.

Great video as usual, CB was in a poor state in base Rise but I absolutely adore it in Sunbreak. Elemental phials are so fun to build and deal a tremendous amount of damage. Got a beutiful rapid morph 2 2-2-1 charm, still got 3 4 slots to play with after the template stuff is done. It's majestic.

This really does look like a really good build, but since i use a lot switch skill swapping (to counter peak and then switch to axe hopper), the final boss skill wont affect me that much, but i will surely try this build out!

I think I got back into rise at the perfect time, I finished low ranked at launch but got busy with studies and other stuff. Now I'm on a roadtrip around europe with my family for two weeks, and just bought sunbreak because I finished a lot of high ranked. Love it so far. (Also switched from great sword to light bowgun, since I suck with the great sword but am pretty good at fps, so light bowgun seemed like the right decision)

Element CB has always been my favourite. Not only because I like the preparation element of bringing a different weapon for a different monster, but also because big numbers are fun. I am excited to get to using these as soon as I can, but I cannot lie, status CB looks kind of neat. Going for max Foray with 3 Chameleos Blessing and maybe Chain Crit on a Spinning Axe setup with the Espinas CB sounds exciting.

I know youre a CB kinda guy, but any chance we get your thoughts on elemental GS with the surge slash?

Love the build, but can you make another build template that doesnt use dereliction?

is there an update to the elemnt set with the new updates and qurio upgrades? Also, impact CB worth using? which one would be best?

Does attack boost affect elemental damage or the phial damage on elemental charge blades?

So the buffs from the final boss armor depend on the scroll you're using(as it says) or is it a flat buff regardless of color?

Can you tell one thing please. Critical element is good for that build, or i dont need it.

You got any ideas for a more comfort oriented set? Dereliction is super strong but I feel like I can't make a single mistake during afflicted fights due to the hp drain.

Weird, I found that using dereliction is far easier on afflicted quests as they allow you to spam moves that recover your hp.

Yeah it does get pretty annoying i tend to colect spirit birds to get my hp up, also changing scrolls recovers the hp they sucked from you so that helps sometimea

The best you can probably do is agitator 3/ attack 5 and chain crit 2, depending on your charms. Personally I'd argue rapid morph 2 is enough and you can add another attack on there or something.

Tried it but CB just isn't quite my thing still after getting so used to how switchaxe handles, am very impressed by the damage numbers though, shit slaps hard.

Ok so i have a question why run rapid morph?? is it for comfort or does it help SAED damage?

Mainly comfort. Rapid morph speeds up SAED but doesn't increase its damage.

Hi there, sorry if this was covered but I've just been doing some testing and it seems like phials can't crit? Correct me if I'm wrong, but surely this makes Weakness Exploit a waste if the build is SAED focused? Cheers :)

Weakness exploit is the best buff you can get for as little points, plus a lot of your sword attacks Crit as well. Malz chest comes with a point too so it’s really a no brainer (:

I don’t really find load-up that necessary on CB in no small part thanks to CPP so I’ll gladly play around with those extra 2 slots.

Any comments if firing pin is worth it in elemntal build? Maybe it doesnt matter but the time span between SAED makes me feel it will glow big enough for a bigger burst.

I honestly prefer it over the default option. Sometimes the monster flees before you get a chance to proc them, but ive been able to consistently get more damage out in fights. As you're able to stick multiple "pins" in an area (like the head) and you can proc multiple phial explosions at once (great for KOs tbh). Also when you proc the "pins" you add back into your shield charge, so you realistically only need to charge your shield once per encounter and have a 100% uptime

How would crit element fair against attack boost?

IIRC, the phial hits can't crit, so you would only get the benefit from hits with the actual weapon.

Definitly build the set tomorrow right after i finished all the bows

And here I thought LS's Sacred Sheath Combo with 100, 250, and 600 damage was strong.

Yo Dude I tried this set with 3 Agitator and did 560 dmg per phial on afflicted great wroggi wtf

Best part is this is still a solid build for non element builds. Change weakness or auto morph for slugger and boom all you need

Can you use these builds for elements like blast/poison etc?

In my opinion, if you know how to load phials and charge your shield, you're fine. Obviously that isn't using the weapon to its fullest extent, but it is a start. By no means am I going to call myself an expert (I'd even go so far as to call myself "alright" over "good"), but charge blade isn't as complicated as it looks.

Anybody who want to use a safer elemental cb build, I recommend using 4 p narwa/ibushi with the end game boss waist piece (chain crit 3) for thunder and dragon. Also daora’s arm piece and teostra’s waist give two points in their respective skills which boost elemental damage. Teo=blast/fire and daora=water/ice. This mean by using either pieces, you’ll still gain a 10% elemental damage buff.
