Now, I project to screen throw Widi since Kodi installed in my cellphone, and in turn, this is connected by Wifi (Windows Network SMB) to NAS who has all my series and movies :3

I'm glad I watched this video. For about a year I've been trying to figure out how to watch Netflix on my 50" TV and not use my PS3. I'm going to cast my Galaxy S8 and/or Galaxy Tab E to my 50" TV Micro USB to HDMI it is!

You can actually put that full size usb directly to the TVs full size usb port to power it up.

Thank you I bought one from eBay & I hope it works well on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Also PS - Your supposed to use the USB Type A Male on the back of the TV to plug in the USB Type A Male Into to make it simpler.

I have cords exactly like those. Tried to use it with my hdmi tv and my samsung s3. Had my tv input set to hdmi 1, Didnt work. Then i tried the hdmi 2 setting, didnt work. Oh and yes, the usb was hooked up too. All cords were hooked up. So what am i doing wrong here? Help please.

i have a question does it work with the LG Android tribute because it has same thing as my phone charger ?

After some problems connecting, i solve it by turning on airplane mode and restart the tv. Then when the screen is on the tv u can switch back to normal mode.

You just need a connection to keep phone charged... I usually use a large portable rechargeable battery.....but any other options will work fine......

My only use would be still photos from my Samsung S4 to a display monitor. What kind of adapter would you recommend?

no man step1. connect your hdmi port to your tv step 2 connect the usb port to any input device (like charger, power bank,laptop etc) NOTE: STEP 2 is only for giving input to hdmi cable in order to stay conected between mobile and tv step 3: now connect the thin port to mobile and enjoy NOTE: IT DOESNOT WORK FOR ALL MOBILE SO AFTER BUYING THE PRODUCT CHECK THE CABLE BY ABOVE METHOD IF IT WORK THEN DONATE SOME FOOD TO POOR PEOPLE BUT IF IT DOES NOT THE MAKE OBJECTION FOR REFUNDING THE MONEY AMEN

Almost all tv's have a usb port however not all tv's have the charge ability through that usb port. Some only have it to receive information from a usb cor excample. Not all of the tv's have that dual function fo being able to charge a device. Ic you wanna see if your tv has the charge usb dual function plug your phone into the tv with the usb port on tv and see if it charges your phone. (If not, your tv does not have the dual charge function.)

What happens if you turn off your phones screen? Does the TV display also go black?

Ismael Ortiz The one he used was specifically for a variety of Samsung/Galaxy Models, it does work for other phones....but you're going to have to check to verify if it will work for yours..... I had a similar issue with this type not being compatible with my phone..... There's a number of sites available that will match your phone up with the proper adapter.... Amazon also offers information for you......

+soushi8 yes its just micro usb to hdmi using cast screen so as long as you android is supporting cast scereen it will work

+Giovanni Ramirez Chromecast is wireless and a direct connection like this is less convenient but performance can be much better. I've used screen casting on the Chromecast and it is heavily dependant on your wireless network performance. This is direct and wouldn't suffer from any issues. I was thinking the same thing about the USB plug into the TV.

Yeah i agree with you but also the cons of having the cable means that it might bend, in the long run, and slowly stop working. Whereas the chromecast it is wireless and hassle free. So it all depends on whether you want quality, being the traditional cable, or hassle-free.

+Giovanni Ramirez It also depends on if you are in an area with no WiFi. If so this comes in handy. Plus the screen cast on Chromecast only works on KitKat and up. I have an S3 so screen cast is not compatible.

+Ben Rodriguez Chromecast doesn't show whats on your screen. you choose wat to show and it will reach over to that video or song within the internet, not ur phone.

No you can just plug it into the back of your TV or you can get a usb adapter so you can plug it into a socket but most tv's have a usb port on the back
