For context, the first monster shown is called Velkhana, a monster added to Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak in its newest update. The Red thing in the sky is a form another monster called Crimson Glow Valstrax. Valstrax's main draw is how it flies; by expelling energy from its wings, propelling itself through the air like a fighter jet. Crimson Glow Valstrax's Ambush is an attack where it flies off, loops back around and dive bombs into the ground, creating a massive explosion on impact. However, a new form, also added to Sunbreak, the Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax, has a slightly different attack, where it'll launch several energy blasts down at the ground, each of them exploding before Valstrax takes its dive. This is also a subversion of a running gag established in some of Tea Common Shark's other videos, which would typically have a monster shout "LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" As they interrupt a fight with a dive bomb.

*this does put a smile on my face* As Longsword users love to think they are completely invincible as long as they in the groove or time it well, but then Valstrax Divebomb comes in to ruin that mentality. Even I as a more defensive Gunlance player learned that the hard way, Guard Up does not protect against the Divebomb.

Valtrax takes off leaving behind a blinking energy ball before circling around the battlefield. Hunters who happen to be close to this will be proned to very accurate energy bombs, then quick burst hyperbeam to sweep the field, followed up with a dive bomb 10 out of 10 will fight this Dragon again.

Velk looking at the ping/update for ambush will always be elite.

I love that even while they're staring at Valstrax, there's not a point where Velkhana is entirely still. It makes it feel just that bit more lifelike that she's moving a little bit while standing there, and I always appreciate that about your animations, there's always that spark that makes them feel more realistic

When i first time saw risen crimson glow did it risen move it really caught me of guard and also it very similar to it intro cutscenes did anyone notice how capcom introduced the risen elder dragon first we got chameleos who we got first introduced in the base rise game then we got kushala and teostra who are the second to introduce with chameleos next we got valstrak who the last one in the base game so maybe the next one could be a risen malzeno or shagaru magala if anyone sence a pattern how they introduced the risen elder dragon similar how they did in the base game

risen malzeno is impossible, mainly because he has a symbiosis with the Qurio, so it is impossible for him to “overcome” the anomaly, since he will take advantage of them even more than the others, even using them to feed himself.
