This is my nostalgia song, it was literally my childhood. My dad would play this all the time along with foo fighters and the living end, but this is the one I specifically remember just stopping and listening to when it came on. Tbh it makes me kinda sad to think about because it reminds me of the house I grew up in before my parents divorced. Now I’m somewhere that doesn’t feel like it’s really my home and the only things I have to remind me of it are these songs.

What I like about reading this comment section is how universal the nostalgia for this song is. And not just from its original release but often years later For so many people, there was just a simpler time in our lives where we had this song playing over and over. it’s so insane. you didn’t listen to this song for years. then you hear a song on a party who uses this melody as a sample and you are like: wait i know this! then you gonna listen to it and you are instantly back in your childhood and just tearing up bc of how great things were back then

At this time in my life when this came out I was living in an apartment in San Antonio…my neighbor downstairs was a pretty girl named nicki. She was a heroin addict. But she was really chill down to earth ppl. We had some of the most interesting convos I ever had in my life. This was 2009-2010….it is now 2022. I always wondered how she is doing or if she is even still alive. It sucks. Some ppl come into your life and u don’t even know that they are a blessing. She was a good girl. A philosopher. A good mind. A good spirit. I miss her energy.

This song is so nostalgic to me. I remember hearing my friend play this so I decided to search it up I instantly forgot about it. A few years later this came out in the track of horizon bass arena (forza horizon 4) I got so nostalgic I cried because I remembered my friend that I moved away from.

Got to see these guys open up for Of Montreal at Oberlin college back in October 2007. Never would’ve guessed out of the 4 bands playing these guys would take off like they did. Kids and Time to pretend blew me away. Still some of my favorite music to listen too.
