Hi Jerry, thanks so much for your content. This is something all buyers need but sales consultants don't have time for. Keep doing what you're doing. It'll catch up with most people soon. We bought a new MG ZS EV and this video helped us understand the car better and faster.

Good, informative video! Thank you. I really really like this car for its price point. I drove it for a week in Australia and loved it; apart from some of the software niggles and satnav mistakes. As a Tesla owner, I think the MG ZS EV is value-for-money and has features that even my Model S does not have such as the blindspot indicators on the wing mirrors, great all-round visibility, heated seats, and rear window wiper. Also, the 7-year full warranty is fantastic! I consider the MG ZS EV to be an ideal second EV for me; and I also recommend it to anyone who is considering an affordable family EV.

Hi Jerry, I'm in the market for an EV, will be "downgrading/downscaling" from a 2011 ML300. I've tried the atto3, the dolphin, the ZS (mk1) and the mg4, they are very nice, stacked with options, but only the ZS gives me that kind of "SUV feeling" albeit being much smaller than the ML. The ZS I'm considering is an mk1 luxury with 20000km. Would you recommend it ? I don't drive much, max 10 000 a year so am not so much concerned about autonomy, more about reliability in time. thanks in advance !!! sean

Hi there, here in France I took delivery of a ZS EV Luxury 3 weeks ago and I'm loving it. Just one point - the software version on your car is HW001 the same as mine but there is now a new version HW002 available. Just waiting for a date to have mine updated.

@@Dave-in-France My honest answer is no. Haha. Generally, manufactures do software updates to fix small bugs here and there in most cases just like Microsoft.

@David Jenson Mine also has software version HW 001. How can I update it? I ask the dealer?

Interesting. I wish they had a awd model with a rear motor. I hear a phev model is coming out with the updated ZS EV next year. The petrol powered models having already being updated.

Hopefully they will bring out better and update model soon although New Zealand won't be the first place to receive the goodie at all

@@JerryPanandCars Does the ZS EV use pouch or prismatic battery cells. Who manufactures their battery packs?

@@briananthony4044 Hey Brian, MG belongs to SAIC motor in China. SAIC motors produce the battery for MG and other brands under their umbrella these days. They use lithium-ion battery but I'm not entirely sure about battery cells, unfortunately. Hope that helps. Jerry
