Great Video. Thanks. Here's some tried and tested stats and comparison with Diesel/Petrol Car in actual Mumbai Traffic on Western Suburbs. I own MG EV for 11 months now. Of course, could not drive much due to Lock-down. Avg. Traffic speed these days on Western Exp. Highway - 9 km/hr (bumper-to-bumper traffic these days due to metro rail construction and no Mumbai local trains running, so very heavy to heavy traffic). In past 9 years of my driving during office commute hours, on the same patch of the road, this is the slowest traffic speed at the moment on Mumbai Western express highway. Stats & Comparison with other fuel cars with same baseline and road/traffic conditions: Full Charge (100%) Range: 265 km i.e., 5.95 kWh @ Avg. Traffic speed of 9 km/hr.: - Commercial charging at Fast Charger station (Fortum) @15.99/min (when only charged maximum to 70-75%) will cost you '4.75 Rs./KM' - While my other car, I owned Diesel FORD EcoSport until recently, one of the best economical city mini-SUV @10km/liter, it costed me '8.10 Rs./KM' - Petrol car assuming mileage of @9km/lit on the same road condition and avg. traffic speed will cost more than '10 Rs./KM' But here is the fun, a game charger: - Domestic Charging with a 7.4 kW given by MG, assuming you fall into highest charging bracket at your residence, consuming more than 1200 units of power for all your home appliances and equipment, the charge/unit is Rs. 8 Rs./kWh & additional 2 Rs./kWh as Wheeling charge, Total charge cost comes to 10 Rs./kWh. - ZS EV full charge capacity - 44.5 kWh - Total cost - 445 @ 10 Rs./kWh with your AC charger given by MG at your residence ****** Total Cost per Km in domestic charging condition @9 km/hr in Mumbai traffic @265 km/Full charge @5.95 avg. kWh range******* 1.67 Rs./KM However, in reality with in last 11 months of my ownership of this EV, my avg. cost of charging at home is 6 Rs./kWh So actual cost per km for me is not measured in Rs./KM anymore, its Paise/KM. 00.99 Paise/KM To summarize and compare with set baseline in real world situation of actual Mumbai Traffic @ 9 Km/hr.: Diesel Car - 8.1 Rupees/KM Petrol Car - 10 Rupees/KM MG ZS EV - Home Charging - 99 Paise/KM If you are out of this extremely bad Mumbai traffic, you will have a much better range and EV is the most economical option with other greats features and experience shared in this Video. Hope the facts and analysis helps many to make up their mind to plunge in Electric Vehicle Ecosystem, at least for City driving options for now. On NH48, Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway, with average speed of 50 KM/hr, Highest Speed most of the time 95 KM/hr, with Air Condition On, Eco Mode, I have got avg. rage of 7.2 kWh i.e. Total range of 32O KMs.

How much does it cost to 0-100 on fast charger?

Long term maintenance yet to be revealed in EV vehicle..high purchase cost and battery replacement will almost be equal to the cost of petrol or diesel maintenance including purchase cost

By the time replacements come which is about 5 years from 2020, the battery cost would have dropped 50%.

At home it costs 300 rs 0 to 100 % so mileage comes to around 1 rs per km

And bhai tell properly that ur charging at commercial charging station, if we charge at hom u need 42 units costing upon per unit cost, and you are comparing the runing cost with diesel in city, wch disel car is this much efficient

8 year and 1,50,000 kilometers whichever is first. Warranty by the company . After that it can be repaired like rebuilding engine of a petrol diesel cars .

850 rupees for 70% charge is quite a lot. There was no traffic in this video of Mumbai,so this is not actual range There were no speed breakers, MG has poor ground clearance of 161. You didn't discuss the cost 26 lacs ,well above the IC. MG Hector. Nexon EV with home charging option and free fast charging option is more value for money

You certainly missed the break regeneration tech for electric vehicles the more you break in city driving conditions the electric battery charges a bit...... Secondly why people preffer mg over nexon is the range it offers and feature comfort with more premium features like voice operated features and panoramic sunroof and a better space for front and rear passenger rear space is more in zs ev than nexon plus you have a massive boot in here so many prefer the mg zs ev....

Lots of mis information... Am using this vehicle... And range in city is 310 km percharge.. Or evn more in city..... Highways i get around 270-280.....also charging it costs me around 300 ruppee per charge

This is for fast charging public charging. At home the cost is lower . The mix of home and outside charge is variable .

@@raju2009 you charge it at home it charges from 0 to 100 in 42 units of electricity, charge it from 30 to 100 will require 30 units, he is charging at 50kw fast commercial charger thats why he is paying more

@@vaibhavthapliyal3429 In Hyderabad the on road price come with 25 lakhs it includes only insurance , they don’t charge life tax. But I heard Delhi govt is providing some extra incentives on refunding some 1.5 lakhs to the customers account and anyways in hyd also registration is free and it is applicable in PAN India.

Electric vehicles are just better. No noise, no emissions, less fuel costs, less maintenance costs. Gasoline and diesel are OLD polluting technology. So last century. Electric cars, electric trucks, electric buses, electric trash haulers, electric snow blowers, electric lawn mowers, electric snow mobiles, electric water craft, electric garden tools, electric mechanic tools, electric motor cycles, electric bicycles, electric scooters, electric farm tractors, electric construction equipment, electric delivery vehicles, ...... everything is going electric. No worries about starting after sitting for a few months. Gas always needs repairs.

True fact: it is time consuming that's it

Parts of which are made in China.. but since the company is owned by Korea, the majority of the revenue goes to korea.. as opposed to a chinese owned company in which majority or the revenue goes to the government which in turn is spent on the army.. chuthiya ur baap.. gavar.. educate yourself before you make a fool of yourself in front of the whole world..
