|| ABOUT ||
Today, getting what you need is as easy as a trip to the store. From food to clothing, energy, medicine, and so much more, Andy George will discover what it takes to make everything from scratch. His mission is to understand the complex processes of manufacturing that is often taken for granted and do it all himself. Each week he’s traveling the world to bypass the modern supply chain in order to harvest raw materials straight from the source. Along the way, he’s answering the questions you never thought to ask.

"Para todo mal, mezcal, para todo bien, también" Wise Mexican saying
lol at 3:20 after the girl laughs she asked, "what did he say?"
Didn't even turn the slightest red. Impressed XD

with the amount of work that goes into these videos, how the fuck do you only have 100.000 subs?
I love how much he was slurring at the end
My family is from Jalisco and just from the last two frames makes me think of home .
Good
Piña it's in the same family as pineapples amazing
Im at Real Minero palenque (the place where they make this mezcal) in Oaxaca right now XD. Just thought it was something cool to say.
Keep in mind that this channel was created last year, and for that time span I think 60k subs is quite good.
Wow amazing vid, but how tf do you only have 67 k subs?
Just wondering, do you guys have side jobs, or do you just make money on KZread. Also great video again! The HTME crew steps up there game every week.

We're making almost nothing off of these videos right now, so at this point it's mostly just a side project we're all doing on the side. We all have regular jobs or do freelance video work as our main source of income, but we're all hoping we can build this up into an actual source of income at some point.

:/ you should have more views and subscribers, this are very high quality videos and the content too...
The early Mexicans were making clothes and alcohol (Mezcal) from Agave long before the Spanish arrived. The Spanish were only responsible for the Tequila variant, it's not like the Aztecs didn't already have the alcohol, heck, even the worm (el gusano) was their idea, and again I stress, this happened long before the Spanish ever arrived in the Amercas.

Even North American native Americans made a variant of mezcal just look at the Apache tribe called the Mescalero tribe.
Good taste tests :p
It may be helpful to specify that the "blue agave" that tequila is made from is actually Agave Tequilana 'Weber's Blue' cultivar.

I wish you'd actually described how each of the mezcals tasted, would have been nice to understand the range of flavours =(
i don't think pulque and mezcal are directly related. pulque is made from the sap of the agave flower stalk. mezcal is made from the roasted heart of agave.
turn subtitles on you wont regret it
You should make hot coca
Holy shit... You can talk coherently after 10 tequila shots...!!! Wow man... We got a smart alcoholic here..👍👍👍
andy should do a drunk video while talking about making things.
That looks like pineapples. Is it in the same family? Also piña is pineapple in philippines, so is it a pineapple plant?

@@amy7189 yeah, I thought as much these are gigantic. Lol. I searched a bit and found out this plant is closely related to asparagus than pineaple. I guess piña is different for the mexicans and filipinos.😅😅
Hi do you have contact info I am interested in harvesting agave
What is the budget for these kinds of videos?

I WILL REIGN at the end of his long projects you can see the price of what he made, and that covers his expenses, but we don't know how much he spends on the side for these projects like gas to drive etc
Now I want tequila D:
i thought the future vids are gonna be one video only

+Xerxes Vaughn Denopol That was the original plan, but the Wheat Beer episode received lower then average views, so we're splitting them up to see if the long video length was scaring too many people away

It's actually called a pineapple, too. Cool shit.
Great video, but I don’t know how you could pronounce mezcal wrong the entire video when you spent days hearing Mexicans say that very word. The stress is on the second syllable, mes-CALL, not the first!
OMG this looks like a massive pineapple
How drunk did you get from all that mezcal?

Jalisco not hulisco
He’s not a mezcal tequila drinker but he’s making this video?! ugh!
0:47 is it just me or does the jalisco region look like a bird?
how drunk is he
fix your map of where tequila can be made. such a mistake, coming that early in a 3 part series makes the whole thing suspect.
mess-CALL & ha-LEES-ko are proper pronunciation. how do do everything: you should learn to pronounce all the words in your videos that are in foreign languages correctly Having said that, I love these videos. Keep it up!
Omg his accent!!!! Ugh!
“Hull-isk-coe” 🫠
