Great. But what was wrong with the aparture? I have 3 lenses like this. The aparture blades look shiny with marks on them. Is it possible that there is oil on the aparture blades of this lens or are the aparture blades just made out of shiny metal?

The 200mm F4 seems to be quite similar to this (and not to later Pentacons except the zebra ones).

Wonderful video, I have the same lens but the aperture is rusted and mostly broken. I hope I can fix it or replace it, this lens must be awesome

@@invisiblespark It causes central nervous system depression, which has nothing to do with mental depression. It slows down the nervous system and thus also body functions, which can decrease rate of breathing, and decreased heart rate, for example.

If you got a CNC, metal bandsaw or alot of time on your hand, you could try to make your own aperture blades from thin springsteel. Sadly ready-made repair kits are very expensive.

Great video. I have a question that you may be able to answer. My Orestor has an element that is loose. It is not the front element but what sits before it. Do you know how much I have to loosen to be able to fasten it? Grateful for a little guidance. Greetings from Sweden.
