And football isnt popular in USA because they suck at it. They just dont want to be reminded that they suck at things. Talk about poor soar losers with fake pride. What sport can they pride themselves about? American Football? they are the only country that cares for american football. The rest of the world rather play Football(yes, all of the world calls it football and not soccer).

Allocated tickets this time. Many people from out of state. Plus this gave some US fans encouragement to know they had their own away section. 2011 GC final was open market, mostly local fans. There would have been less US fans this time if it weren't for the ticket allocation they did. But it was still a fun stadium to be in.
