In case ya’ll wondering why there was a practice 4 the earthquake when they didn’t know about the earthquake, there was an earthquake in the same place and coincidentally in the same day September 19th in 1985, so each year on September 19th all schools in Mexico do an earthquake drill as the anniversary of the earthquake. So it was really weird how the earthquake was the same day

0:50 well, it was a practice, then a real earthquake started And in Mexico’s schools is normal that the alarm doesn’t sound, it’s because the alarm is more used for practices than for real earthquakes

I'm mexican and I live north where there are usually no earthquakes, but I remember this was a very hard time for our country. Many of us, even far away from that are were scared and upset. I also remember the national sismic system alerts and there were minor earthquakes showing up in northern states. I started crying when she said they were all terrified, I can't imagine how they felt being there :(

When i was in the earthquake i was crying and shaking and i felt like i wanted to puke! Its was horrible... The cars were moving by it own the houses were shaking .the windows , doors were shaking too. Im so thankful to god the nothing happened to my family , my dog and us!

I was taking my second recess when the earthquake happened. The trees and wires started moving a lot. Fortunately my school was fine, I live in the state of Mexico. What I remember the most was how people started helping, they actually had to deny help because so many people were volunteering to help

I'm glad this is not like my story animated or all of that other ones because it's basically the same people telling different stories like if we see them,they have the exact same voice all of the boys have the same voice as another boy and all of the girls have the same voice as the other girl,like it doesn't make sense!! But this is amazing, this actually tells us the truth about people's lives! And I like this.

My grandma lives there and when that happend like I completely froze in shock,my mom called them and she was crying. She told my mom it was very scary and I don't know if it damaged there house but pls just give this one like and leave prayers. This is my only grandma left an I don't wanna lose her🙏🏻🙏🏻Thank you guys for it ps:not trying to use her for likes :/ But idrc if u guys don't like but for me it means good luck and I am just grateful to have her alive😊😌

I Was in The Earthquake too, I Was In Math And Then The Building Started To move, And a guy called Víctor said "Teacher I think an Earthquake is happening" The teacher said It Was ok And then We hear The sirens, We couldnt go Down There were Pieces Of Window And Roof, I Almost cut My hand trying To rescue a cat Under some pieces Of Roof. The POLICE Came And I saw a school in The floor, Kids Crying And A Fire in a Building. I went home And Everything Was upside Down, after That we were paranoic And moved out, Marie I am Glad You Are ok, My Grandpa Didnt survive a Wall Fell on HIS torso And he died in a surgery. I Hope Everyone is ok!
