Actually, just as a manner of helping you and anybody who sees this comment I think a lot of non spanish speakers make this mistake. They pronounce words having two consecutive "L"s as if the word has one "L". For example you pronounced "bellas" as "belas". When a word has two "L"s you pronounce them like a "y". So bellas would be pronounced as if it was spelled with a "y" like beyas. So Vallarta would be pronounced as if it was spelled like this, Vayarta. If I recall correctly it might be that in Italian two "L" s are pronounced like one. Anyway not trying to be a buzzkill but thought you should know.

This is sad and the reason why a lot of US cities feel soulless. They demolished most pre-industrialization buildings and although glass and steel skyscrapers are beautiful and some of them historical, it’s nice to see reminders of where we’ve been as a city and what we can overcome.

The Historic Center of Mexico City, often referred to as Centro Histórico, is a dynamic and culturally rich area at the heart of Mexico's capital. With its origins dating back to the Aztec city of Tenochtitlán, the Historic Center is a fascinating blend of pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern influences. It houses remarkable landmarks such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, a masterpiece of Spanish colonial architecture, and the Templo Mayor archaeological site, showcasing ancient Aztec ruins. The Zócalo, the main square, serves as a central gathering place and is surrounded by historic buildings, museums, and vibrant markets. Its streets are lined with centuries-old structures, while contemporary life flourishes in the midst of this historical tapestry, making the Historic Center a captivating reflection of Mexico City's layered history and cultural diversity. Thanks, Ben Troy Outdoors!
