I would love to visit Mexico one of these days! I would think Mexico City would be quite a fascinating city to visit. I'm sure I would really enjoy all the food that the country has to offer. I've also heard great things too about Guadalajara and Oaxaca.

Great video, I'm from Mexico and the only correction I would say is, there are only type A wall plugs, other ones are only for industrial use so don't bother, also Airbnb is a great option for travelers also because hosts are often very charming (when there's one). Places I've liked living in mexico all my life are: Oaxaca, Xico and Coatepec in Veracruz, Cuetzalan, Zacatecas, Acapulco, and Guaymas. Do research them first.

The Tulum ruins are really cool though! It holds so much Mayan history. But actually spending time in Tulum and eating there, probably would skip it except seeing the ruins 😄

The ruins are pretty meh, but Chichen Itza, Palenque, Uxmal are amazing.

@@pablerry see, I liked Tulum better than Chichen Itza! It had more of a village feel and so many vendors at Chichen Itza really ruined the experience for me

@@lauraelise5095 Yes, that is the bad part of Chichen Itza, you should try Uxmal, no vendors, and is surounded by chocolate farms Cenotes and many more things to do. My favorite is Palenque, a magical place.

I use to live in San Diego and went to Tijuana dozens of time over 15 years, the street tacos their are the best I've ever had, and I've been all over Mexico. I recently moved New York and there is NOTHING here that comes close. Ive never been a great cook but I had to take it into my own hands and have watched HUNDREDS of video to effectively recreate Tijuana tacos. This was a great video. Also, Lexie is perhaps the hottest woman on this planet, no simp, but shes so pretty and I love her hair. Anyway. 😁

We went to playa / Tulum area last September and were 100% shocked by the cost of our meals….and save a few places, we were also very disappointed in the food.

Same story here. Went to tulum with a friend last September and we spend an insane amount of money on food at restaurants. It was also very underwhelming too. Definitely a tourist trap

Your video was well put together, I'm mexican born and raised. I live in the US now. Totally agree, if you really want to experience the culture, food, and history, you need to get off the tourist top spots. Cancun, cabo, tulum, Islas mujeres, playa del Carmen, Puerto Vallarta, all this places ARE beautiful BUT they have become americanized. Even the food is not the real Mexican food. These places should be vist at least once your lifetime, but in my opinion, that's it. Saludos a todos! 🇲🇽🇲🇽

Me gustaría que especificaras más sobre el tema de los costes (por ejemplo los restaurantes o actividades comunes, en este caso, visitar templos turísticos), así como amplíes la lista de atractivos para ver o experiencias a realizar en el país. Solo nombras 3 atractivos y con eso no da ni para quedarse una semana. Estoy viendo tus vídeos porque como has visitado todos los países, entiendo que seas más exigente y más objetiva a la hora de recomendar "lugares únicos" de cada país, así como desmentir y mencionar (obviamente basado en tu opinión) lugares que teóricamente son bonitos y merecen la pena, pero que para ti ,habiéndolos visto en persona, no te sorprendieron. Podría indagar en otras fuentes, pero confío en que tu experiencia de ver todo el mundo puede dar información más relevante en estos temas. Por lo demás, muy bueno el vídeo, muy informativo y tu personalidad es excelente.

I don’t agree with skipping Tulum. It’s a great place to relax and has some of the best beaches in the world. I do however agree with don’t go there and expect to be on a budget. With that said Mexico City is amazing. I will go there once a year until I die. Side note the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs, Chicxulub is located in the Yucatán

She is seriously downplaying the dangers that are involved in going to that country. Mexico has a high risk of violent crime, including murder, armed robbery, sexual assault and kidnapping. Kidnapping and extortion are serious risks.
