depends on the application, but in general I avoid moog at all costs, I'm tired of filing warranty claims.

There’s still some moog USA made stuff floating around if you get lucky the mom and pap shop might have some still on the shelf. I found upper and lower control arms for my truck still made in USA just look at the box before you buy.

Having been around a while, but not needed to replace normal wear parts for years, I go to look into Moog and I’m surprised to hear all the negative. They used to be top of the line and correct deficiencies in stock parts! Sad… I have a JL wrangler that I’m going to install a TTX inner/outer tire rod on. I’m hoping it’s at least as good as stock because stock is way more expensive. Same for aftermarket “upgrades”.

A lot of those old brands.. MOOG, Gates, Yukon, Redhead,... all betting on their old reputations, selling crap Chinese parts now. Its really sad to watch.

I use Mevotech and just installed some more of their stuff. But I replaced a control arm on my wifes car with Mevotech and within a year and a half the Ball joint was completely sloppy and moving freely, making a ton of noise. Put some OEM ones back in.
