Thank you I tried to do this but KZread has changed the timestamps from backwards to forwards so people like you and I who do this have to subtract the time from the beginning which is ridiculous!

its their only song i can get into - its not angry and frantic and stretches out a bit, more relaxed and hypnotic.

When I listen to the records I assume its multitracked. But no, this guy can actually get that full a sound out of a single guitar live. Amazing.

dirt before a fuzz pedal gives u MASSIVE sound if ur pickups are good and u don't have a tone knob that works

A boat to drown in is a gut punch after riding on an emotional roller coaster

So glad they played A boat to drown in. Its their best song for sure and i hope they are going to write more melodic stuff like this, because they're just so damn good at it.

Atlas Vending is a fantastic evolution of an already fantastic band. Everything they’ve done is top notch but Comets Tail and Boat To Drown In are hypnotic as hell and I’m very here for it.

I love Chris' bass tone. It's got some growl.

I am in love with this drummer. hes perfect

The last live show that I saw was METZ and Refused in March 2020. One for the history books. Epic show!! Long live METZ!!!

Every once in a while, you will stumble across something on youtube that just blows you away (musically.) This band is just explosive and raw and real. At the moment when you think all is chaos, a melody will come through that relieves all of the tension. These guys play with their hearts in it. Awesomeness. I hear a bit of Steelpole bathtub in it and drumming like it was from a dream that Dave Grohl had. The bass is heavy and crushing and kinetic as hell.

If you ever get the chance to see them live. Do it. They are amazing live. I saw them live at Laneway in Brisbane QLD in 2016. One of the most high energy performance I have ever seen.

If there's one band I'm gonna miss seeing live it's Metz. Always a consistenly amazing show. Still remember a kid back flipping by accident as he crowdsurfed when everyone dropped him then picked him back up just before he hit the floor. Never seen anything like it. Then Idles' drummer (they were the support) handed me rest of his beer and dived in.

@@MajicFreeman Yeah, it in was 2015 when Idles were still just a local band. I live in the same town, so sometimes I'll see them as I walk past. Had no idea they would get this big. They played "Well Done" that night and that got me thinking, "Oh, these guys are pretty good". Funny how those things happen.

The new album is SO GOOD, and so is this performance, like omg

I played one of their records and I couldn’t tell any of the guitars and tones apart. Then I had to see a live vid. I didn’t know it was a 3 piece. There’s so much frantic tones and irregular melodies it’s hard to know what’s going on or where the songs going. Then when you here the relief and you start to hear all the components apart from each other. The drumbeat is frantic and drives song forward never giving a break and you realize how much power in simplicity is. The sound of everything from the bass being subtlety sweet compared to harshness of the guitar tones. These have a unique sound

I just got back from my daily walk, wincing in pain from this hernia. I turned this on and layed down, only to involuntarily thrash around on my carpet while my ears squirted love juice

I have been following Metz since their first appearence on KEXP.,saw them live in Lyon (France) and Luxembourg City. Those guys rock so much !!!!

hooked on Metz after 1/2 riff.. Jesus..

That's a great afternoon with METZ for me.

Just in awe of how tight, in sync, and almost perfect they sound and play together. The same feeling I get when I see the Jesus Lizard live. That good!

This is truly amazing! They are so talented in both their musicianship and songwriting. That guy is my new favorite drummer. WIsh they had played "Parasite".

I can't wait for the gig in Zürich
