This is unreal what a game this was. Arguably a game of the year candidate but wow what a game. Ozzie Albies with the cold blooded walk off 3 run home run he knew it instantly and so did truist park as it erupted immediately. Riley also with a homer, darnaud with one as well, also arcia with the game tying home run in the 9th, acuña and rosario with nice nights as well. Even with the pitching not being so strong the braves never gave up and found a way to win it. This team is full of resilience and it is special. Truly an incredible game and series as the braves get the sweep over the mets and in all 3 games they trailed by at least 3 runs and came back to win each one. I'm neither a Braves or Mets fan, but anyone who follows the sport of baseball knows Arcia's tying HR should've never existed. The Ump by design called strike 3 a ball in PLAIN sight that gave him life. I knew right then and there how this game was going to end. There would be no 10th inning or a sweep. It's no coincidence having HOFs in the booth calling the game from a franchise they represented as former players, it had to be dramatic so it could look like some storybook/fairytale ending. All of you Braves fans just eating it right up lol. Mission accomplished. That's the absolute truth whether you want to believe what really took place or not

Game 62: This has gotta be the most satisfying series the Braves have played all year. Francisco Alvarez of the Mets hit 2 off of us but it still wasn't enough. This was THE game of the year; Arcia tying it and Albies winning it an inning later was amazing to listen to on the radio. Unfortunately Strider's ERA ballooned today but I believe he will be able to get it back down. Riley and Ozuna also hit nukes today. I heard the broadcast booth was legendary today so I guess its fitting that we get a legendary win today. One of the best games I’ve seen in a long time, and with Chipper, Smoltz, Glavine, and Frenchy in the booth, the most fun I’ve had watching a game in a very long time. The whole package. When the Braves bats are hot, the sky is the limit.
Two of the league's best pitchers getting lit up by two of the league's best lineups.... Doesn't get any better than that. Wish they could both be given a W, that was incredible....
@SolidSnake8295

“Two best”? Coming into this game Strider was the Cy Young frontrunner and the Braves had the #2 offense in the NL. Meanwhile there were already concerns the 40 year old Verlander (who now has a 4.85 ERA with a $43M a year salary) had lost a step while the Mets offense is the very definition of average ranking 8th out of 15 NL teams.

@@vc8my Braves’ strategy: develop young talent and sign them to longterm team-friendly contracts. Also make smart trades and pick up very cheap free agents who are then turned into above-average or better players. Mets’ strategy: give out massive contracts to “older” players based on what they did in the past instead of based on what they’re likely to do during the contract.
Ozzie Albies stepped to the plate like a mechanic. 😮 He came to fix things! 😎
Well, as a Met’s fan, I guess we’re back to the normal way of life for us. For us it was a horrendous series. The only bright spot was pummeling Strider again. But it also proved moot. Hopefully Alonso learned to keep his donut masher shut. To the Braves: Hat tip to your line up. Your line up treated the Met’s bullpen like batting practice. Nice job on the sweep. Insane how good they are while missing most of our pitching staff.
It was one of the greatest slugfests ever occurred between both teams at Truist Park last night, and the Atlanta Braves came out on top and swept the Mets by a score of 13-10 in extra innings. Atlanta started out with three runs to take the lead in the first. But the Mets launched a major counterattack with five runs of their own in the second, and that's when this slugfest really gets going. The atmosphere inside Truist Park is really intense, and Atlanta was behind 10-7 during the second leg of the game. But the Braves aren't gonna let the Mets escape, and they did so by adding a total of three runs to tie the game by the end of regulation. By the 10th inning, the Braves delivered the final knockout blow on the Mets with three runs, and they swept the New Yorkers out to the curb. This proves that if you mess with the Atlanta Braves, you'll get the chopping block! Now, with the perfect sweep behind them, the Braves are now firing on all cylinders and gearing up for the final home stretch when the Nationals make a beeline for the ATL. Can the Atlanta Braves keep up their home field advantage and go for win number four, or is there gonna be dirty politics in store in favor of the Nationals? Find out for yourself by tuning in tonight to see if the Braves can avoid politics on their watch from Truist Park in Atlanta! BRAVES (38-24) VS.
