You know what I would find hilarious? Replacing nothing items or the ETM stand in for echoes with traps. Not quite lethal like the ice traps in Zelda games but perhaps you pick up an 'item' only to get slapped in the face with the Rez-bit virus for a few seconds?

I believe support for ice traps is coming to Prime 1 rando in the future, not sure about prime 2 traps yet.

@@BashPrime the question is how they plan to implement the ice traps with some fail-safe to prevent a softlock. Pick up an item as a morph ball without bombs and you're stuck. And how they would get it to work in prime 2 since it doesn't really have anything like an ice trap, closest being the screen glitch from the rez-bit virus

@@craigfunk3453 I know that when you're unmorphed, the freeze effect goes away on its own eventually. Not sure if the same is the case when morphed however

@@BashPrime well while frozen unmorphed you can mash jump to break out, though it might be attached to space jump considering in vanilla you don't face any freezing mechanics until you have space jump (adult sheegoths and thardus) who knows. But certainly things to keep in mind hope things work out in the end

Reggie and I were both playing on console - on Wii with the Nintendont loader This also works on the Dolphin emulator

@@404waffles Need to softmod a Wii so the Homebrew channel can be installed, then you run a custom Nintendont build (you can upload or copy from the multiworld app). Then you point your multiworld app to the IP address of your Wii and have a multiworld session working! Also I recommend joining the Metroid Prime randomizer discord, you can get more help and take part in multiworlds there: randodiscord.metroidprime.run/
