Those central units almost looked exactly like a miniature mother brain, but with armor at first then it reveals itself without the armor.

The Chozo technically did create Mother Brain.

Believe it or not the hardest one for me (or at least the most frustrating) was Escue. I just couldn't read its patterns, took me a while. Drogyga, Z-57 and Raven Beak were my favorites. Epic final battle. I wish the battle with X-Raven/Kraid at the end was longer though, just as an excuse to use that badass Metroid Samus armor a little longer.

Am I the only one who didn't realise you had to 'kill' the mutated, bio-weapon, Corpius's limbs or the fight would go on forever? I knew I was missing something and I couldn't figure it out. Luckily, I got some really good practice on the rest of his attacks, especially those pink crescent-moon attacks.

It’s about time they brought back kraid and he looks so cool in this game with cool boss fight too

That fight was a completely new experience for me since the older 2-D Metroid games were before my time. I always knew about him, but I’m glad I finally got to live it. This is probably how it is for a lot of people since he hadn’t made an appearance in over 20 years.

they need to come completely full circle and give Samus her green hair back.

More like DNA-donor, Raven Beak's DNA is in Samus but I don't think that I'd count that as a parental relationship. Raven Beak certainly seems to think so lmao. He gave her one chance to join his cause and started brutalizing the Player right afterward.

A lot of the bosses in this game are "learn how to counter them and they become easy and fun" The problem comes with learning how to counter them, bc the game does zero job of actually pointing stuffs for you and just goes "Oh you remember using this stuff? Well good luck finding out what to do with it" lmao I remember being stuck forever on Drogyga until I realized you had to powershot both switches to drain the sh1t out of it *Edit: I finished my first playthrough full 100%, and I stand corrected. That was on me being denser than a dwarf star lmfao*

The most interesting thing is just how closely Samus matches Raven Beaks fighting style. Both of them start at a distance then get the enemy to come close/close the distance themself and shoot them/beat them up. There has to be more to their relationship then the fact that he had her modified.
