Method Feeder Fishing for Carp and F1's with Paul Holland at Packington Somers

Спорт

Fishing in shallow water with a method feeder for carp and f1s on the far bank allows you to reach the fish when it is unreachable with a pole. You can build a big weight of fish fishing the method with groundbait.
Paul Holland takes us to the fantastic Packington Somers Fishery using Blakes Coarse Carp Mix, fishing the method feeder to the shallow water on the far bank.
Paul shows us how to mix the bait to get the right consistency for the method feeder, as well as plenty of fishing tips and tricks such as using a bait-up feeder to introduce a large quantity of bait quickly.
Talking through clipping up, where to fish and timing your bites to allow you to maximise the potential of the peg.
Packed full of Paul's method feeder knowledge to help put more fish in your net and have an enjoyable day fishing.
Thank you to John Burchell at Packington Somers for their fantastic hospitality. Packington Somers is a great place to fish, whether on a match or pleasure session.

I've watched countless lads using the method feeder...all top anglers all giving their tips etc, all very interesting, all are fantastic tips. Mr Holland though has made it very simplistic ( by the way 40 years of fishing behind me, I've ever only fished rivers, canals and lakes in Ireland)...so carp venues are new to me. Been watching taking it in from others who fish the method) The next couple of weeks I'll be taking all you have just shewn me to my first carp venue. Not only are they great tips...you delivered it without any 'boredom' by not repeating everything and more importantly....after a couple of minutes in, I felt YOU were talking to me throughout it all....great delivery...well done Sir.

How do you avoid the carp taking your rod in when clipped up .. I had one take my rod and reel .. I had the rod eye against the front rest but rod just cartwheeled up jumped off the rest and straight into lake ! Got it back but nervous now and got locking butt rests first future sessions

Principle behind the feeder is getting hook bait offerings & feed around your hook . So as long as your not casting all over the lake your putting a bed of bait down to attract fish into your swim .
