    As an Southern American angler bream fascinate me because I grew up fishing for “bream” (sunfish) I occasionally look into bream fishing in Europe but from what I gather they are really never targeted by specimen anglers it seems to be either match anglers(match fishing fascinates me but dosent quite scratch my itch) or nuisance catches for carp anglers I would love to see some content akin to a lot of carp session film where rigs and the such are talked about but the trip and the catches are the star

    Great video and hopefully you continue to feature Grant's complex even though your journey is extensive . I remember back in early 90's i fished a match with Sean Huggins and Trev Reynolds . After the match Trev's two boys were asked if they could retrieve a section in the water , they did and they then started diving down on the bottom on the pool and retrieved other sections and rods by touch i believe , they did it on another day also . I think John (previous manager who's surname escapes me and who's brother also owned a fishery ) gave the lads some money /reward . Another place for gear was Boddington where i believe some 100 rods and pole sections were taken up .

    Hi Jamie, Just recently found your channel, but I've learned a lot already! Just a question on your explanation to set up the feeder on the pole length.. you mentioned you count back the length of the rod.. do you take into account the depth of the peg as well? Where I'm fishing, we have pegs varying from 2 to 5 meters deep, so I'm wondering if you have to take that into account as well, preventing you fish too short?

    Hi, Jamie. Hope you had a good Christmas and NY. Have you used the 1mm micro pellets and if so, how do you find them? Also, I have trouble moulding groundbait onto my method as the groundbait tends to stick in the mould. Any tips? Should I make it dryer? Thankyou! Andy

  • @CatchFishingChannel

    @CatchFishingChannel

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Andy, yes it was a quiet Christmas but all good thank you! I've only used them twice and they seem ideal. Yes a dryer mix may help but the most common thing which can cause that problem is just keep the mould dry and clean as that will def help but it does depend on the mould too. Some are better than others mate.

    Cheers Jamie. Can I ask why you chose to fish the method and not the pole? I’d have thought that pole would give you more accuracy at such short distance. Was it just for the purpose of the video?

    Another great vid, it was interesting to see you feeding up an area with your mesh feeder. At relatively short range up to 20 metres, why would you use a feeder over several casts and not just lob a ball, or a few smaller balls of grounbait / pellet mix instead ?

  • @CatchFishingChannel

    @CatchFishingChannel

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thanks Kevin and yes I can see how that would work. It was just because on most fisheries you can't loose feed balls of groundbait so I wanted to just show how you can get around that rule mate :)

    @@CatchFishingChannel sorry i commented pretty early whilst watching, you explained your reasons later in video. I wasn't criticising just typing what i was thinking at the time, i was a little premature with my comment. I was referring to your start, why not slide an inline cage onto stem? Not criticising use of method feeder Great channel by the way and thankyou
