Lovely recipe. The theplas were gobbled up in no time! Tip: Make sure to add very little water while kneading, and gradually increase if required. I needed to add less than 1/8 of a cup, probably due to the moisture in the leaves or ginger-green chilli paste.
Today i made it.. it turned out yummy.. everyone in my family liked it.. i have tried many of ur recipes.. like dhokla.. panner kadai ...tomato pulav.. masala chai .. masala dosa.. etc.. always it was simple yet delicious.. ur explanation is simple and perfect.. 😍😍😋😋😋😋☺☺☺😇😇 very happy

I prepared it yesterday night and it was yum. I was trying my hands on this from a very long time. but I always end up with hard parathas. Thanks to you that finally my mother in law praised my parathas and didn't miss our cook. i Served them with Some Tulsi Green Tea of Planet Ayurveda.

Does thepla require a lot of oil while cooking on tava? I tried thepla but they turned out hard... Any tips for soft theplas?

After making to keep them in a box while they are hot and seal tight it for 10 mins or so. This should make any roti soft

I think you can drizzle more ghee when it's on tawa...and even after that..so it holds some moisture...

ragini dubey Paratha doesn’t use besan while kneading the flour plus the spices r slightly different.
