I hope you have bought one by now. I got mine in 2023. Six thousand trouble free cruising. My only advice is to buy one with the touring seat. And replace the rear suspension with something better than Royal Enfield has installed? This year I took my RE to Cornwall, just over a 300 mile non stop ride. Two up all the way and ran at 70mph without any problems. And cost less than £25 to get there! In total we did over 900 miles when we arrived home. I've ridden other RE modules with harder seats. Glad mine has the touring seat! Safe enjoyable cruising 👍.

I just this past weekend purchased an Astral Blue Meteor 650. Upgraded from my Meteor 350. Here in southwestern Oregon, the 650 is perfect "off the shelf". Set the rear suspension to the "3", or "mid" position. Ride is perfect. My 650 is a Demo from the Texas Launch Event this past October with only 900 miles on it. It included the first service and the entire RE Launch Kit; all for $6500 US. I have added a GIVI topbox and side cases. Absolutely an outstanding bike, no issues, and no downside. If anyone has any doubts or concerns about this machine, discard them and purchase this motorcycle.

Very interested to watch your "shocking video" and used it as a guide for setting my SM650 rear suspension. "If you live in Europe.." you say, the implication being that we (I am in Scotland) will have better roads. I can tell you that after decades of neglect, the roads here are no better than third-world conditions. Every road is festooned with pot-holes. I will be watching with great interest to see what happens if you upgrade yours.

I never knew you had roads in Scotland 😂 it will be a while I’m afraid, as I take a month off to return to UK to visit family as soon as school break happens. But thanks for your support. You want to be at least on setting 2, and if above 100kg, maybe 3 or 4. Good luck 🙏

Getting the Supper meteor a little late is a good thing. That gave royal enfield time to fix some bugs. I have noted at least one of those updates in a video I made about my Supper meteor.

@@Teacher-T-Thailand kzread.info/dash/bejne/gIZ-tpSOlMremto.html hear is the link to the video I made right after I got my bike. The 2024 model year unseen updates if they happened at all would be fixing the premature break wear and chain stretch issues. Before I bought my super meteor I literally watched every KZread video on the bike to find out what were the problems with it and was I willing to live with them in exchange for the comfort of the bike. The roads in Idaho are very good so pot holes and chopped up roads is not an issue. My biggest issue is bad knees and being 6 foot 2. I needed a bike that had more power than my 230cc Honda and a leg forward seating position. Idaho has been experiencing a February heat wave with day time temperatures between 40-55 degrees Faran Hight so I am very tempted to de winterize my bike and start riding. I got the bike with 2 miles on it and currently have 60 on it.

My biggest worry with the Interceptor is the tubed tyres. I have had one puncture so far, due to a nail in the rear tyre. Fortunately, I rode home without a problem as there was just a slow leak. The next morning , while wheeling the bike around, I could tell that the rear tyre was flat. Removing the wheel was easy enough and I had a new tube installed locally. It then took two of us two hours to re-install the wheel. There are some spacers to position and being the first time it probably took longer, but it was quite fiddly. I dread being stranded away from home with a puncture in my tubed tyres. When I bought replacement tyres recently, I did ask if the shop could do a tubeless installation, but they were not able to do it.

Yeah, specked wheels are not really designed to have tubeless tyres sadly. The air would escape from the spokes. Hence the beauty of alloy wheels. If you changed the wheels it would be possible, but costly 🙏
